Dark Firaga
Dark Firaga allows a Keyblade wielder to launch a seething orb of darkness at the opponent from the tip of the Keyblade. Terra's version of this attack continues to follow its target, even after its initial impact.

Dark Firaga (ダークファイガ Dāku Faiga?, lit. "Dark Figa") is a technique that was introduced in Kingdom Hearts. It allows the user to fire a ball of dark flames at a target.

Mechanics

When wielding the Soul Eater, Riku launches Dark Firaga from the palm of his hand.

In Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories, Dark Firaga is an attack sleight that Riku can use while in Dark Mode. Riku charges and unleashes a fiery dark projectile from his free hand, dealing a considerable amount of neutral damage. The projectile itself behaves similar to Fire magic, traveling at a fast speed with some homing capabilities. Its card combination is:

In Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, Dark Firaga is an Ultimate magic command exclusive to Terra. It deals dark damage, and it may also blind enemies. It takes up one slot in the Command Deck, has a maximum level of 5, has a normal reload time of 20 seconds and fills the Command Gauge by 35%.

In Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, Riku's version of Dark Firaga splits into several smaller fireballs before homing in on a target.

In Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, Dark Firaga is a magic command exclusive to Riku. It allows the user to launch a single ball of dark flame that splits apart and ignites some enemies. It deals dark damage, uses one slot in the Command Deck, and has a reload time of 26 seconds. It grants +20 to both Fire Resistance and Dark Resistance when attached to a Dream Eater recipe.

Chef Kyroo 15% 15%
Majik Lapin 15% 20%

In Kingdom Hearts Union χ, Dark Firaga is a special attack that targets all enemies. It costs 3 special attack gauges to perform.

Initially, Riku can only use Dark Firaga while in Dark Mode.

Dark Firaga first appears when Riku enters Dark Mode and uses it in a failed attempt to harm Sora. Later, when Riku is possessed by Ansem, Seeker of Darkness, he uses this attack to counter Sora's offensive magic. When Sora successfully blocks a Dark Firaga attack, he earns 34 Tech Points.

As a Replica created from the real Riku's combat data, the Riku Replica can utilize Dark Firaga, as well as the other skills granted to Riku by Dark Mode. Unlike Riku, who needs a card value of 16-25 to perform this attack, the Riku Replica can use it with any value. On the twelfth floor of Castle Oblivion, the Riku Replica attacks Sora with Dark Firaga as the Keyblade wielder attempts to aid him.

Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days

In his battle against Roxas, Riku utilizes two different versions of Dark Firaga. The first version simply causes an explosion on impact, while the second launches Roxas into the air, making him vulnerable to Riku's Dark Break attack. Later, after Roxas recovers and obtains the Oblivion Keyblade, Riku attempts to use Dark Firaga, but the Nobody easily deflects it.

In Mission Mode, Anti-Riku takes Riku's place in Mission 93. He uses the same skills as Riku, including Dark Firaga.

Kingdom Hearts II

During the battle against Riku-Ansem in the Land of Dragons, Riku casts volleys of Dark Firaga to attack Sora. Later, when Saïx tries to capture Kairi and Naminé, Riku uses Dark Firaga to drive him back.

Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep

After Xehanort returned to Land of Departure and Eraqus learned of his scheme to recreate the χ-blade, he attempts to stop his former friend. However, Xehanort quickly defeats him with a Dark Firaga spell, permanently scarring Eraqus's face.

When Ventus follows Vanitas to the Badlands, Vanitas challenges him to a duel. After easily defeating Ventus, Vanitas attempts to destroy him with Dark Firaga, but Mickey Mouse miraculously appears due to the Star Shard and deflects the spell.

Later, Braig lures Terra to the Purification Facility and forces Terra to duel in order to rescue his hostage, Master Xehanort. Terra gives in to his darkness and easily defeats Braig, launching several shots of Dark Firaga that both permanently scar Braig and destroy Xehanort's chains.

Kingdom Hearts Re:coded

Data-Riku uses Dark Firaga when Data-Sora fights him in Hollow Bastion; the attack sends either a single fireball or three fireballs at Data-Riku's target.

Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance

During Riku's battle against the second form of Ansem, Seeker of Darkness, the Heartless uses two variations of Dark Firaga, as well as a third status-inducing variant known as Chaos Figa (カオスファイガ Kaosu Faiga?).
