About the Roxas page and sorry about the FA removal (thought it was some mistext)[edit]
Can you unlock the page so I can edit it? (Adding in some Remind stuff with the spoiler tag) I'm kinda having trouble editting it since its locked cause of some trivia war debate (which was over months ago).YeetusVanitas2010 (talk) 1:35, 24 January 2020 (UTC)
KH1 HD Sprites[edit]
is it possible for you to get the party member and summon sprites from the PS3/PS4 Version of Kingdom Hearts 1? Kingdom210 (talk) 23:35, 2 February 2020 (UTC)
- No sorry. The ones I uploaded was provided by Tomk1004 and ChrisShade. I only uploaded them. Had nothing to do with extracting them. - JTD95 (talk) 23:41, 2 February 2020 (UTC)
- Why is it that even though you uploaded new icons, it doesn't look like it changed to me? ChrisShade (talk) 00:21, 3 February 2020 (UTC)
- Try refreshing the page. If that doesn't work then it's just taking some time to show for you. It looked corrent on my pc after a refresh. - Joseph Thorn Dalton XCV 00:33, 3 February 2020 (UTC)

Links[edit]
I don't exactly know what pipe links are, but there's not nearly enough links to those articles for others to notice. But whatever the reason, I'm sorry. --Yellowlightning1996 (talk) 21:56, 6 February 2020 (UTC)
- Your work with adding links is great, but stay away from adding links that are like this [The Master of Masters|a mysterious figure]. Those are what are known as piped links. The wiki discourages them as they conceal information from the reader. Keep on adding links that are like this [Sora] and stay away from the other type. If you stumble upon a sentence like this: "Sora encounters a mysterious figure" to not turn it into "[Sora] encounters [Xemnas|a mysterious figure]" but rather "[Sora] encounters a hooded [Xemnas]" or, do not add a link at all to mysterious figure. This is probably not the best explanation so if you have any further questions about piped links I advice you to ask one of the admins. - JTD95 (talk) 22:51, 6 February 2020 (UTC)
I think I understand, thanks.--Yellowlightning1996 (talk) 23:57, 6 February 2020 (UTC)
So on the "Kingdom Hearts 3" article where I made the Guardians of Light link, is it ok if I change it from "seven Keyblade Wielders" to "Seven Guardians of Light"? --Yellowlightning1996 (talk) 00:57, 7 February 2020 (UTC)
How can I make a link to the original Kingdom Hearts without making it a pipe link? --Yellowlightning1996 (talk) 17:38, 18 March 2020 (UTC)
- I don't think you can. It's one of those cases where you have to use piped-links as far as I'm concerned. The main things to think about regarding piped-links is to not have them withhold information from the readers and to not write stuff like [Donald Duck|Donald] because redirects already solves that issue. With KH1 your only option is to write it as [Kingdom Hearts (game]|Kingdom Hearts]. In this case you're not withholding information from the reader and there is also no redirect to fix it either, so it's your only option. - JTD95 (talk) 19:47, 18 March 2020 (UTC)
One of very few exceptions huh? --Yellowlightning1996 (talk) 20:26, 18 March 2020 (UTC)
Are there any other exceptions such as Keyblade names for example Young Xehanort's? --Yellowlightning1996 (talk) 20:38, 18 March 2020 (UTC)
- If I may intrude, for links to pages that have things in parentheses, we have Template:c. So for example, you'd use {{c|Kingdom Hearts|game}} when linking to the first game. Technically it's the same as a piped link, but it looks cleaner. TheSilentHero 21:28, 18 March 2020 (UTC)
In regards to Young Xehanort's Keyblade, Maleficent's Raven, and other similar names there are some exceptions as I understand them. If the sentence is "Maleficent and her raven went on to yada yada yada" I believe you can perfectly fine write it as "[Maleficent] and her [Maleficent's Raven|raven] went on to yada yada yada" Same with Young Xehanort's Keyblade. "[Young Xehanort] picked up his [Young Xehanort's Keyblade|keyblade]". The reason that is acceptable (as I understand it) is to avoid unnecessary repetitions of character names. If any official names is ever given to either YX's Keyblade or Maleficent's Raven those would be used. Just try your best and if you make a mistake then no worries. You've come across as someone with good intents. - JTD95 (talk) 01:48, 19 March 2020 (UTC)
Thank you, just trying to be careful. --Yellowlightning1996 (talk) 03:02, 19 March 2020 (UTC)
Kerscuffle[edit]
I just wanted to clarify real quick-like that this whole....thing between me and Draconai, I dropped it. :| Like yesterday (GMT timestamp still has March 3rd, but whatever lol) - notice how I deliberately haven't responded for a while. Frankly speaking, I have more important stuff to do around here. There's a treasure trove of images and in-game assets that still need to be recompiled and uploaded. So if he starts rage-popping a blood vessel on his lonesome, please don't put that on me. :( Besides, historically speaking, my criticisms of Tetsuya Nomura on here are practically kind compared to some of the stuff the wiki staff have said in the past. Tetsuya Nomura is a creative, and at the end of the day an entertainer, thus freedom of expression goes both ways - people are - and should always be - allowed to criticize his stuff, provided they don't go around making a nuisance of themselves and attacking other people in the process. Common sense and decency, right? So if another user starts frothing at the mouth because of they disapprove of criticisms regarding certain series creative directions, that's entirely on them. :/ Though I will admit lol, my initial post maaaaaaaay have veered a wee bit into rant territory, but in my defense....I was genuinely flabbergasted at how utterly brazen it all is lol. XD But again, I never insulted, disrespected, or attacked anyone. So with that, I hope this clears everything up. --Samoa Joe (talk) 20:31, 3 March 2020 (UTC)
- As I poorly tried to articulate over at the other page; I wasn't trying to accuse either of you of misbehaving. I just saw a conversation that had the potential to evolve into something unnecessary and wanted to prevent that for your sake. I also didn't check the timestamps so I wasn't aware that you'd already dropped it. I'm not a mod or admin so it's not like I could have done anything either. I just wanted to the deescalate something that to me looked like was about to escalate. But no worries. Also, on another note: great work with all the KH3 images you keep uploading! - JTD95 (talk) 12:09, 4 March 2020 (UTC)
This[edit]
- It's been on the Disney Wiki unsourced for over a year,
- I was playing through Kingdom of Corona last night on Twitch and one of my friends mentioned it, and another commenting on how it's "something Zachary Levi would do",
- Looking into it, the closest thing I can find (outside of the aforementioned Disney Wiki trivia point) is a mention of it in TV Tropes, which mentions it coming from a twofer (but no actual source).
Given all of this, it's very likely that there is a source somewhere, but I cannot find it at the moment (mainly because looking up anything related to both Zachary Levi and Kingdom Hearts mainly shows the confirmation that he was in the game to begin with). That said, however, I wouldn't add it in if it was pure speculation; I know how this whole wiki thing works. I might return later with a source, but no promises. Aidanzapunk (talk) 16:10, 17 May 2020 (UTC)
- Neither the Disney Wiki or TV Tropes provide any sources for their claims. Without a source we shouldn’t add it. - JTD95 (talk) 18:58, 17 May 2020 (UTC)
- Fair enough. Aidanzapunk (talk) 22:35, 17 May 2020 (UTC)
- Argh lol. Would a testimony do? Because I remember reading that interview veeeeeeeeeery clearly, but for the life of me I can't remember where. It was JUST before Tangled came out in theaters. I can't source it, but...it's 100% bona fide. --Samoa Joe (talk) 02:15, 18 May 2020 (UTC)
- That's what I'm saying, if it's being covered elsewhere without question, then there has to be something on it. It's just being blocked by news articles saying "Zachary Levi's confirmed to return for Kingdom Hearts III". Aidanzapunk (talk) 04:30, 18 May 2020 (UTC)
- Again, we need an official source. People can easily misremember stuff. What might have happened is that someone misinturpreted something somewhere, added it to TV troops, someone read it on TV troops and added it to the Disney Wiki, and now you’re trying to add it here. You see how easily misinformation can potentionally spread? I’m not saying you’re lying or that you are wrong, I’m saying those pages shouldn’t have that information on their pages without a credible source either incase it turns out to be false. I could have sworn that I once unlocked a golden wrench in Ratchet and Clank 1 when I was younger. I have never managed to find anything online ever that supports that far off memory. Memories can deceive. Point is, we can’t add it without a source. So there’s no point arguing. - JTD95 (talk) 09:02, 18 May 2020 (UTC)
- I never misremember anything. I just can't recall from where I read it. >:< Take that back, man. --Samoa Joe (talk) 16:57, 18 May 2020 (UTC)
- Not to beat the dead horse, and not to insinuate that you didn't look in the most obvious of places, but would this be what you're referring to? Aidanzapunk (talk) 15:19, 18 May 2020 (UTC)
- Maybe it’s not showing on my phone but I see no golden wrenches on that page. - JTD95 (talk) 16:39, 18 May 2020 (UTC)
- I found an interview with Levi about Tangled, in which he said about getting the part: "I just got a call from my people saying they had an audition for Disney’s new animated musical and I was… sold. I’m a huge Disney nut. I have been since I was a little kid. I’ve always dreamt of doing voices for Disney animation, especially musicals because I love singing too. So the whole idea was a win, win, win, win." He talks a lot about other Disney stuff, but doesn't even mention KH. So I don't think this claim is correct. Interview. TheSilentHero 17:04, 18 May 2020 (UTC)
- https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/boards/997779-kingdom-hearts-3d-dream-drop-distance/61208931 - Not really much of anything. 90.249.58.38 17:25, 18 May 2020 (UTC)
- @JTD95: To quote the page, "All weapons had a gold version available, with the exception of the Taunter, Walloper, Visibomb Gun, Drone Device, and R.Y.N.O.." It's not mentioned specifically, but if there was a wrench in R&C1 to begin with, then that'd be what you're looking for.
- @TheSilentHero: I saw that interview in my research, but, again, if enough people are able to back it up, there likely is something hidden somewhere underneath all the articles discussing Levi's reprisal in KH3. Aidanzapunk (talk) 17:42, 18 May 2020 (UTC)

Appreciation[edit]
Hey there, JTD95! We really appreciate the time and effort you spend editing this wiki, and we feel like you would make a great addition to our staff. So we would like to offer you the position of admin, if you're interested. Let me know if you want to accept the position. TheSilentHero 13:40, 26 February 2022 (UTC)
- I must say I'm quite surprised and honored by this! But before I can accept any such position I'd have to know what is expected of it. I'm quite busy and it's often random whenever I have time to check on things here. I must underline that I do deeply appreciate this consideration of course! - JTD95 (talk) 22:15, 28 February 2022 (UTC)
- For the most part, it's not that different from regular editing. You get some extra tools to protect the wiki from vandals and such, and you have some responsibility for keeping the wiki a nice place (so try to soothe conflicts, or taking action when necessary). You'll also get a say in certain decisions.
- It's okay if you're not super active. Some of the current staff isn't either, so that shouldn't hold you back. TheSilentHero 22:24, 28 February 2022 (UTC)
- Then I'll happily accept your offer! - Joseph Thorn Dalton XCV 21:25, 1 March 2022 (UTC)
KHUX Map Names[edit]
Just so you know, every map from here is not officially named. So, names like Park, Flower Meadow, Shipwreck Shore aren't official. I feel like we shouldn't use unofficial names for files, but I'm not sure naming them all "Unknown area" is the solution, either. Also, the A, B, C, etc. in the gallery pages isn't official either, so we should probably remove those.
And do you think we should distinguish between KHX and KHUX in the file name and category? It might be hard to find what part of Daybreak Town was in the original X and what was added in KHUX, but for worlds like Candy Kingdom, it's all just KHUX. TheSilentHero 16:55, 4 August 2023 (UTC)
- Figured the A, B, Cs weren't official, but went with it as that's how it was over at the KHUX wiki. We could change it to just numbering them though.
- I feel when naming a map without an official name we should just name them as we see them. Graveyard, Hill, Player's Room, Park, as well as all others on this list are named very simply based off the information we are given (except for Unknown area. Should be foyer, chamber, idk don't remember this location at all). All files that have more than one word should perhaps not start with a capital letter to indicate that the name's not official. So Player's Room would be Player's room, Clock Tower - Basement Corridor becomes Clock tower basement corridor, and so on. Or we could mark them all with a bad name template (though we'll probably never get official proper names anyways). Or we could add (unofficial) to all the file names. I'm just spitballing, I don't know what's for the best, but I agree that renaming them all "Unknown area" sounds like a mess.
- I guess we could change all the Central Station worlds' file names from KHX to KHUX (as well as most of Enchanted Dominion?), and then we just have to change the ones we're certain of regarding Daybreak Town. Computer rooms, pod chambers, and the maps during the destruction should be marked as KHUX. Over time users will probably notice if some of them are incorrectly labeled. - Joseph Thorn Dalton XCV 22:23, 4 August 2023 (UTC)
- Maybe we could call them "Daybreak Town (Park)", "Daybreak Town (Player's Room)", etc. And we could use the Nameless template instead of the Bad Name one. We just need to find a suitable descriptor for the "unknown room" (it was used in a Halloween story event and Org XIII events), and "Shipwreck Shore" (which was a cool name I came up with, but not really a good descriptor). And on the gallery pages, use a description "A park" instead of the name "Park". TheSilentHero 12:15, 5 August 2023 (UTC)
- Yeah that sounds great! Don't think I knew about the Nameless template but that's also better than the Bad Name one. I'll see if I can fix the file names some time next week. - Joseph Thorn Dalton XCV 12:33, 5 August 2023 (UTC)
