Aero, Aerora, and Aeroga are spells which appear in Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, and Kingdom Hearts Re:coded. They utilize the "power of wind", and are associated with the Spirit and Gust materials. Aero spells form a miniature tornado that launches their target into the air, and can even be used to shield the user.

Aero, Aerora, and Aeroga are a series of magic introduced in Kingdom Hearts. They utilize the "power of wind", and are associated with the Spirit and Gust materials.

In Kingdom Hearts III, Aeroza appears as an even more powerful tier.

In Kingdom Hearts, Aero magic is a defensive spell that covers the target in a field of wind, while in later games Aero magic is an offensive spell, using wind to attack.

<!--replace with full screen-->
In Kingdom Hearts, Aero is defensive magic that can be used by Sora and Donald Duck. It creates a wind barrier around the target that halves any damage taken while it is active; however, if the casting animation is interrupted by an enemy attack, the damage from that hit will not be reduced. Aero magic costs 2 MP to use.
Sora and Donald Duck can obtain each type of Aero spell, but can only cast the most powerful version they possess. Tarzan's "Wind Armor" and Ariel's "Aero Potion" are their personal versions of Aero, and Peter Pan's "Storm's Eye" is his personal version of Aerora.

The spell creates a wind barrier around the user that lasts eighteen seconds, plus one extra second for each of the maximum MP the user possesses. This barrier decreases the damage taken by half, and the higher levels can damage enemies that touch the barrier, or deflect certain attacks.
The duration of the barrier is determined by the following formula:

:Duration [seconds] = 18 + (Max MP)
Aerora and Aeroga create more powerful barriers which also inflict damage to enemies on contact. The barrier created by Aeroga also interrupts or deflects attacks with recoil value that is lower than that of the targetFact.

While it normally offers protection against attacks regardless of deflection capabilities or not, one exception is against the Ice Titan. Whenever any form of Aero is active, its Ice Lance attack uses large projectiles instead of the usual small ones, which are also more powerful, which is thus one instance of the spell working against the user's favor.

In Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories, Aero is a magic card that can be used by Sora. It creates a brief whirlwind that blows away nearby enemies and inflicts damage.

Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories
The Aero card is required for the following sleights:

{|border="1" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="2" style="width:80%"
As in Kingdom Hearts, Sora can cast the Aero spells. It causes wind to blow away surrounding enemies and inflict some damage on them. The Aero card can be used for many Sleights in Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, all of which involve wind or flight.

In Kingdom Hearts Re:coded, Aero, Aerora, and Aeroga are magic commands that allow the user to shoot a gust of wind at enemies that may air-toss them.
Aero and its higher forms are Magic Panels that can be upgraded by linking it to Magic LV panels. Each form of Aero can inflict Air-toss on its target. Aero will shoot a swift gust of wind at a foe, with some homing capabilities, Aerora shoots a larger gust of wind that stalks the foes across the ground, and Aeroga generates a huge whirlwind around the user that also pulls in nearby targets. Higher levels of aero are stroinger but do not cange form.

Data-Sora can obtain each type of Aero spell. The spell fires off a gust of wind that homes in on its targets, and can inflict the air-toss status.
In Kingdom Hearts III, Aero, Aerora, and Aeroga are a series of magic that, when cast, creates a whirlwind that launches enemies into the air, dealing Aero damage. Stepping into the vortex at any time while the spell is active will trigger Superjump if the ability is equipped; if not, it will simply push him into the air a minor distance if he enters the center. The radius of the whirlwind depends on the tier of magic cast. Aero consumes 13 MP, Aerora 18 MP, and Aeroga 26 MP.

Repeatedly casting Aeroga in battle will result in the Aeroza Situation Command, which creates a larger whirlwind accompanied by four miniature tornadoes.

Aero is an Magic Command that has a memory consumption of 15% and a reload time of 15 seconds. Aerora is an Magic Command that has a memory consumption of 16% and a reload time of 16 seconds. Aeroga is an Magic Command that has a memory consumption of 17% and a reload time of 17 seconds.

Mechanics[edit]

Kingdom Hearts[edit]

In Kingdom Hearts, Aero is defensive magic that can be used by Sora and Donald Duck. It creates a wind barrier around the target that halves any damage taken while it is active; however, if the casting animation is interrupted by an enemy attack, the damage from that hit will not be reduced. Aero magic costs 2 MP to use.

The duration of the barrier is determined by the following formula:

Duration [seconds] = 18 + (Max MP)

Aerora and Aeroga create more powerful barriers which also inflict damage to enemies on contact. The barrier created by Aeroga also interrupts or deflects attacks with recoil value that is lower than that of the target[citation needed].

Kingdom Hearts III[edit]

Kingdom Hearts Dark Road[edit]

In Kingdom Hearts Dark Road, Aero is a magic ability that deals Wind damage.

Learning Aero[edit]

Kingdom Hearts[edit]
