Cure, Cura, and Curaga are a series of magic introduced in Kingdom Hearts. They utilize the "power of healing" and are associated with the Bright and Shining materials. Cure magic restores HP to the user, or to a party member.

Mechanics
In Kingdom Hearts III, Curaza appears as an even more powerful tier.
Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep
Cure Magic returns in Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep. The effects are similar to the first Kingdom Hearts in that they only heal the caster. Cure is a flash of green light with two rotating balls of light above the caster. Cura is a burst of colorful petals and leaves. Curaga creates a giant orange flower over the caster as petals and green light swirl around the caster.

Kingdom Hearts
In Kingdom Hearts Dark Road, Cure II appears an an ability.
In Kingdom Hearts, Cure restores a little HP to one character; Cura restores a lot of HP to one character; Curaga restores a massive amount of HP to one character. It costs 1 MP bar to use.
Cure infuses the caster with greenish light and three leaves appear above them and float down. Cura causes two rings of clovers to rotate above the casters head and then infuses the caster with them. Curaga creates four large, yellow, bell shaped flowers to appear over the caster which showers them with golden magic. Only Sora and Donald can cast Cure. However, Tarzan and Ariel have abilities that resemble Cure. Summoning Tinker Bell also has a Cure effect.

Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories
Visually, Cure magic invokes flowers or plants.<!--KH: Cure infuses the caster with greenish light and three leaves appear above them and float down. Cura causes two rings of clovers to rotate above the casters head and then infuses the caster with them. Curaga creates four large, yellow, bell shaped flowers to appear over the caster which showers them with golden magic.

In Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, there is a Cure Magic card that can be used in a few different Sleights.

Other characters have connections to the Cure spell. Marluxia, Number XI of Organization XIII, wields the element of flower, which appears to be the inverse of the Cure spell, as it induces a gradual death as opposed to healing, evidenced by his boss fights. Tinker Bell, in contrast, summons cards with a similar effect of Cure magic to gradually heal Sora when summoned.
KHII: Cure creates a burst of leaves above the caster and two sprouts of water drops descend in a spiral around the caster and any allies in range. Cura causes vines and clovers to swirl around and up anyone in range. Curaga creates three yellow flowers above the caster that showers the caster in petals as well as a flurry of petals all around them, while any allies in range are surrounded in petals and circled by a vine covered in sprouts.

Donald uses Curaga on Sora after he is attacked by Larxene.
KHD: Cure creates a burst of leaves above the caster. Cura casts a circle of clovers and leaves around the caster. Curaga creates a large cluster of yellow, bell-shaped flowers above the caster, and it then creates a glowing, green circle with flower petals swirling in it.

Kingdom Hearts II
KHBBS: Cure is a flash of green light with two rotating balls of light above the caster. Cura is a burst of colorful petals and leaves. Curaga creates a giant white-orange flower over the caster as petals and green light swirl around the caster.
In Kingdom Hearts II, Cure magic is much more powerful and nearly always fully heals its target as well as allies within the proximity of the deployment. Cure magic further gains an increasingly large area of effect as the spell's level increases; however it also consumes all of the user's MP in one casting. Cure creates a burst of leaves above the caster and two sprouts of water drops descend in a spiral around the caster and any allies in range. Cura causes vines and clovers to swirl around and up anyone in range. Curaga creates three yellow flowers above the caster that showers the caster in petals as well as a flurry of petals all around them, while any allies in range are surrounded in petals and circled by a vine covered in sprouts.

Curaga also appears in the story; During the Heartless invasion of Hollow Bastion, Aerith is shown using Curaga off-screen to heal an exhausted Yuffie.
KHREC: It uses the same visuals as Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days but at a higher quality, with Cure summoning a burst of leaves over the caster, Cura summoning a wreath of vines and floating clovers around the caster, and Curaga creating a cluster of bell flowers above the caster with flower petals and a wreath of vines circling them.

Characters who cast Cure magic in Kingdom Hearts II:
KH3D: Cure manifests as a flash of green light and two large, brown seeds with sprouts descend in a spiral around the caster. Cura creates a series of vines that swirl around the caster. Curaga creates a pink-red lotus flower above the caster while a vine and bursts of green light encircle them.

Cure, Cura, and Curaga are a series of magic introduced in Kingdom Hearts. They utilize the "power of healing" and are associated with the Bright and Shining materials. Cure magic restores HP to the user, or to a party member.

In Kingdom Hearts III, Curaza appears as an even more powerful tier.

In Kingdom Hearts Dark Road, Cure II appears an an ability.

Visually, Cure magic invokes flowers or plants.

Story[edit]

Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep[edit]

Mickey uses Cure on Ventus when the boy battles Vanitas for the first time.

Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories[edit]

Donald uses Curaga to heal Sora from Larxene's attacks in the 12F Exit Hall.[7]

Kingdom Hearts II[edit]

Aerith uses Curaga to heal Yuffie during the Battle of the 1000 Heartless.

Mechanics[edit]

Kingdom Hearts[edit]

In Kingdom Hearts, Cure is defensive magic that can be used by Sora and Donald. Cure restores a small amount of HP to one member of the party. The higher-tier Cura and Curaga restore increasingly larger amounts of HP. Cure magic costs 1 MP to use.

Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories[edit]

Cure (card).png

In Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories, Cure is a Magic Card that can be used by Sora.

The Donald Friend Card and its associated sleights can cast Cure magic when used.

The Cure card is required for the following sleights:

Kingdom Hearts II[edit]

In Kingdom Hearts II, Cure magic heals the user, and unlike in the first game, it can also heal nearby party members. Upgrading the spell increases the range of the healing field.

Due to the new formula, the amount of HP recovered depends on the user's Magic stat. It will heal more in comparison to the first game, but all of the user's remaining MP will be lost in the process, starting MP Charge.

In Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, Damage Control halves the power of the spell when equipped to the recipient.
