KH3D

The Staggerceps is a Dream Eater that appears in Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance.

Design

The Dream Eater's Japanese name combines the Japanese words for "scissors" (鋏, hasami^?) and "stag beetle" (鍬形虫, kuwagatamushi^?), while its English name combines the words "stag beetle", "staggering", and "forceps".

Spirit

The upper section of the Spirit Staggerceps' body is primarily red, as seen on the head, shoulders, and arms. It has a red shell, and green spikes on each arm, red pincers with purple tips, and green "palms". It has teal legs, with green and indigo feet. The biggest differentiator from its cousin, the KO Kabuto is the face, which forgoes a horn-nose in favor a pair of large red and purple forceps, relocating the giant cannon to its chest, which has green and blue ocean wave designs on the sides. Similar ones can be found under its arms, with three green spots beneath it. The Spirit Dream Eater emblem is located on its chest.

Nightmare

The Nightmare Staggerceps just loves purple, as seen on the head, shoulders, and arms. It has a purple shell, and teal spikes on each arm, purple pincers, and green "palms". It legs and feet are varying shades of green. The biggest differentiator from its cousin, the KO Kabuto is the face, which forgoes a horn-nose in favor a pair of large magenta and dark blue forceps, relocating the giant cannon to its chest, which has purple and teal ocean wave designs on the sides. Similar ones can be found under its arms, with three green spots beneath it. The Nightmare Dream Eater emblem is located on its chest.
