The Master Control Program is a boss in Kingdom Hearts II, located in Space Paranoids. He is fought alongside Sark.

Strategy[edit]

Kingdom Hearts II[edit]

Guardian Soul is very useful here because its ability, Reaction Boost, amplifies the only way of damaging the MCP. During the battle with the MCP, Sark again throws his disk (which has proportionately increased in size) and can shock the ground when Sora is close. The other way to get rid of Sark is to attack Sark's legs to make him kneel, this allows his head to be attacked—destroying the head stuns Sark for some time, but he will eventually be fully regenerated by the MCP.

The MCP is surrounded by walls protecting his core, Sora needs to attack the walls and use the Delete and Charge Reaction Commands in order to defeat him. Tron cannot be knocked out or Sora will be unable to use Delete.

After decreasing the MCP's HP with Charge, he will counter with his Electromagnet Field and Laser attacks. When the MCP is reduced to 50% HP or when eleven walls are broken, the MCP will repair the broken walls. Heal when necessary, but be sure to save healing items for Tron in case he is knocked out when needed for Delete.

Make sure to stun Sark before making a move against the MCP, as he will use his Giant Disc Throw attack if he is active while the party is using Delete. Sark blocks off the passageway with a wall when the MCP is reduced below 50% HP if Sora is far away, which allows the High Climb and Needle Dive Reaction Commands to be used to stun Sark.

Since Delete counts as multiple hits in Valor Form, this is a great battle to train Valor. Hitting the Defensive Walls also count. Hit Sark if the Drive gauge runs low. Be sure to equip Sora with the Drive Boost Ability.
