Conformers (不倶戴天, Fugutaiten) are weapons that can be used by Axel in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days.

Design

A Conformer chakram much more closely resembles a shuriken (fitting, given its Japanese name) than Axel's other weapons. This weapon was most likely chosen due to the similarities between ninjas and assassins being the same. It lacks a center wheel, and instead has four spikes that connect to each other. Each of these spikes are large and triangular, and they each have an angular curve. The sides of the chakram alternate from black to red. The handle is a black cross, and the tips of the handle flare outward slightly.

Etymology

• In Final Fantasy VII, the Conformer is Yuffie's ultimate weapon.
• In the Final Fantasy video game series, the Fuma Shuriken is a recurring throwing weapon that can only be used by Ninjas. It is usually the strongest throwing weapon in the game it appears in. The Fuma Shuriken appears in Final Fantasy IV, Final Fantasy V, Final Fantasy VI, Final Fantasy XI, and Final Fantasy Tactics.
