A Frost Crystal, the rarest of the Frost materials

Frost (凍てつく, Itetsuku^?, lit. "Freezing") is a material type available in Kingdom Hearts,Kingdom Hearts II, and Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. Frost materials contain the essence of ice, and are colored aqua.

Kingdom Hearts Final Mix introduced the Frost Stone, dropped only by the Grand Ghost.

In Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, a Frost Crystal can be found in a chest at the Cavern of Remembrance: Depths.

Frost materials are used to synthesize the following items:

^ The White Mushroom drops a Frost Shard if a Blizzard spell is the last of three different spells cast on it.
^ At Wonderland, Bambi drops a Frost Shard 40% of the time the second time his gauge is filled, and 60% of the time the third time his gauge is filled.
^ The White Mushroom drops a Frost Gem 10% of the time if a Blizzard spell is the last of three different spells cast on it, and 40% of the time if all three are a Blizzad spell.
^ At Wonderland, Bambi drops a Frost Gem 30% of the time the third time his gauge is filled.
^ The Frost Shard is buyable for 100 Munny once 30 have been deposited.
^ The Frost Stone is buyable for 200 Munny once 25 have been deposited.
^ The Frost Gem is buyable for 400 Munny once 20 have been deposited.
