Cursed Coach
The Cursed Carriage (カースドキャリッジ Kāsudo Kyarijji ) is an Unversed boss that bears a striking resemblance to the pumpkin carriage from Disney's Cinderella. The Cursed Carriage made its debut in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep.
Story
Out of Lady Tremaine's great jealousy, this Unversed attacked Cinderella and the Grand Duke when Cinderella's foot was discovered to fit the glass slipper. Aqua was warned of the Cursed Carriage's presence by an escaping Grand Duke, the Keyblade master coming to Cinderella's rescue. The Tremaines met their demise because of the Cursed Carriage, incinerated by one of the bombs that the creature caused to rain down from the sky.
Design
The Cursed Carriage is a large plant-like Unversed that mimics an orange pumpkin on wheels. On the pumpkin there are black drooping eyes and a large frowning mouth, giving it the appearance of an emotion, like other Unversed. Its actual head lies on top of the pumpkin "face", creating the image of a stem. Two vines ending in flowers protrude from the sides of the creature. Its four "legs" are long, thorny vines that are curled in a circular pattern, giving them the shape of wheels. It can use these wheels to hover in midair.
Abilities
The Cursed Carriage causes bombs to rain down from the sky, also bouncing around the battlefield to create shockwaves during battle. A side-effect of one of this Unversed boss's attacks is the spawning of several Thorn Bites. It also is able to suck Aqua inside itself to deal damage. Also it can whip Aqua with its vine arms.
Strategy
The Cursed Carriage is Aqua's first Unversed boss and an easy opponent. A key component for your victory, as the information bar so plainly explains, is your Reflect. The carriage attacks with by whipping Aqua with its vines or using them in a spin attack. It also bounces around creating shock waves wherever it lands. It will also summon Thorn Bites to assist it in battle. Also the boss can use its wheels to hover in midair and bombard the arena with bombs. The best times to attack it is when it uses its whips and when it bounces around. When it tries to smack you, block it and it will fall to the ground stunned. Blocking when it bounces around yields the same effect (only it lands upside down in a comical fashion). Beware when its HP is low as it will try to inhale Aqua into it's mouth for damage. But overall the Unversed is not too difficult. With well timed reflects and attacks, It should fall easily.
