Chapter 13: Hollow Bastion! Team, Assemble!, also called Chapter 13: Rendezvous at Hollow Bastion, is the thirteenth chapter in the Kingdom Hearts II manga.
Story
Aboard the Gummi Ship, Sora, Donald, and Goofy prepare to travel to the only gate that is open, which leads to Hollow Bastion. In Hollow Bastion, a woman is attacked by Shadows. Yuffie and Leon work together to protect the town from the Heartless. At Villain's Vale, Maleficent sends Pete to other worlds to build an army of Heartless.
Sora, Donald, and Goofy arrive at Hollow Bastion. While browsing the Marketplace, Sora spots two Shadows and prepares to attack, but the creatures get defeated by Claymore, the town's defense mechanism. Yuffie sees Sora, Donald, and Goofy and gives them an update on the work they've done on the town. Sora offers to help, which Yuffie gladly accepts. Yuffie tells them about Claymore, and brings them to their secret hideout. At the hideout, Cid and Leon are thinking of ways to deal with the Heartless, while Aerith serves tea. Yuffie arrives with Sora, Donald, and Goofy, and introduces them to the Hollow Bastion Restoration Committee.
Leon brings Sora, Donald, and Goofy to the Bailey, where they can see Villain's Vale in the distance, which is swarming with Heartless. When Leon asks if Sora can help with that, he immediately accepts. Suddenly, a group of Organization XIII members appears, summoning hordes of Nobodies to test Sora. One member starts taunting Sora, stating the Keyblade has more potential than what he uses now, before the group disappears. Exhausted and beaten up from fighting the Nobodies, Leon, Sora, Donald, and Goofy return to Merlin's House.
