Episode 31: A Storm, Love, and a New Beginning, also called Episode 31: Storm, Love, New Beginning, is the thirty-first chapter in the Kingdom Hearts manga.
The front page shows a giant Ursula being attacked by Donald and Goofy, while Flounder and Sebastian cower, and Ariel clings to Sora for protection. The back page shows King Triton as a sea creature.
Story[edit]
Ursula traps Sora, Donald, Goofy, and Ariel in her tentacles, and creates a giant whirlpool. The whirlpool causes the Sunken Ship to hit Ursula in her back, making her release her grip. Now free, Sora, Donald, and Goofy attack Ursula, causing her to lose grip of the trident, which zaps and defeats her. With Ursula gone, the sea creatures turn back to merpeople, including King Triton.
Ariel returns the trident and apologizes to her father, who apologizes as well. King Triton asks Sora to seal the Keyhole, using the trident to summon it in Ariel's Grotto. While Ariel dreams of the outside world, King Triton tells Sora to wield the Keyblade with caution. Sora shows Donald and Goofy a page of Ansem's Report he found in Ariel's collection.
In Traverse Town, Aerith is working on decoding pages of Ansem's Report.
Back in the Gummi Ship, Sora, Donald, and Goofy are sore from swimming.
