After School (アフタースクール Afutā Sukūru ) is a Sitar that can be wielded by Demyx in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. It embodies Demyx's personality.
Design
The After School sitar resembles a more modern type of broom than Xaldin's Broom lances. It has a wide head with long, white bristles sprouting out from what appears to be a silver dustpan built into it. The shaft of the broom is a long, brown rod with black ends and a silver, square-shaped handle attached to the upper tip.
Based on its form and name, it is probably a reference to after-school clean-up of a classroom, which is usual in Japanese schools. Because it brings out Demyx's true personality, it may be a reference to his tendency to "sweep things under the rug".
Gameplay
After School's ground combo starts with Demyx performing a 360-degree spinning diagonal slash with the tip of the "sitar", followed by the same attack, but in the opposite direction. The combo ends with another 360-degree spinning attack, after which, Demyx strums the "sitar", emitting a yellow shockwave which damages any enemies around him.
The aerial combo consists of a downward diagonal slash with the tip of the "sitar", followed by a thrust upward, and ends with a blast of three yellow shockwaves forwards. This weapon has no combo.
