MP Rage (ダメージアスピル Damēji Asupiru , lit. "Damage Aspir"), also translated as Damage Syphon, is an ability introduced in Kingdom Hearts. It allows the user to recover their ability-fueling gauge when damage is taken. The greater the damage, the greater the recovery.
Mechanics
In Kingdom Hearts, MP Rage is a support ability that restores MP when damage is taken. It costs 2 AP to equip, 3 AP in Kingdom Hearts Final Mix.
In Kingdom Hearts II, MP Rage is a support ability that restores MP when damage is taken according to the formula (HP damage taken ÷ maximum HP × 100[1] × no. equipped). It costs 3 AP to equip. Does not work during MP Charge.
In Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, Damage Syphon is a support ability that restores the Focus Gauge when damage is taken. It can be equipped once.
