Gravity (割合攻撃 Wariai kōgeki?, lit. "Proportional attack") is an element that appears in Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories. It deals percentage damage relative to the target's current HP.

Attacks and abilities

In Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories, the player character can use attacks that use the Gravity element. While Gravity magic is the most prominent, in Kingdom Hearts the element is also used for attacks that are meant to be extremely powerful.

Kingdom Hearts

Ability Type Description
Gravity Magic Wrings a percentage of HP from the target. Effective against enemies with lots of HP.
Gravira Magic Wrings a percentage of HP from the target. Wider area of effect than Gravity.
Graviga Magic Wrings a percentage of HP from the target. Wider area of effect than Gravira.
Gravity Break[KH I FM] Combat Ability Has a 30% chance of unleashing a gravity-based finishing combo attack that deals damage equal to a % of the target's HP.
Zantetsuken[KH I FM] Combat Ability Has a 30% chance of unleashing a finishing combo attack that can destroy a weaker enemy.
Ghostly Scream Combat Ability Summon dark spheres to crush enemies.
Trinity Limit Special Ability Channel the party's remaining MP to crush surrounding foes.
Proud Roar Summon Attack Proud Roar Lv.5 deals Gravity damage.
Showtime Summon Attack Gravity magic can be cast during this attack.

Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories

Ability Type Description
Gravity Magic Card Magic that deals damage relative to the enemies' remaining HP. Stock two cards for Gravira and three cards for Graviga.
Gravira Magic Sleight Deal damage relative to the enemy's remaining HP.
Graviga Magic Sleight Deal wide-range damage relative to the enemies' remaining HP.
Gravity Raid[KH CoM] Magic Sleight Hurl the Keyblade and trigger Gravity upon impact.
Surprise! Friend Card Jack casts Fire, Blizzard, Thunder, or Gravity. Stock more than one and Jack will cast multiple, more powerful spells.
Surprise! Lv2 Friend Sleight Jack double-casts Fira, Blizzara, Thundara, or Gravira.
Surprise! Lv3 Friend Sleight Jack triple-casts Firaga, Blizzaga, Thundaga, or Graviga.
Showtime Summon Card Genie casts Thundara, Gravira or Stopra. Stock more than one and Genie will cast multiple spells.
Showtime Lv2 Summon Sleight Genie randomly casts two spells chosen from Gravira, Thundara, and Stopra.
Showtime Lv3 Summon Sleight Genie randomly casts three spells chosen from Gravira, Thundara, and Stopra.

Gravity Drop in Kingdom Hearts Re:coded utilizes Gravity, but it does not inflict Gravity damage.

The Lucid synthesis materials are said to contain the essence of emptiness, and are associated with Gravity.

The Gravity/G Gummi blocks in Kingdom Hearts II are named after Gravity magic.

Goofy's Seven Elements, which represents the seven types of magic appearing in Kingdom Hearts, includes a black circle adorned with a purple eight-pointed star, representing Gravity.
