I was over at my cousin's house(and while I can't remember how long I had been there, it must have been a while) and while she was talking with someone, I wandered around until I wound up in her room. That's when I saw it: Kingdom Hearts, right there on the floor(on a bed comforter I think, I know it wasn't on the actual floor). And next to it was a PlayStation2(that was usually down in the basement which was also the den). I forget what had been running through my mind back then, but I do remember that I popped the disc in the system and started playing. The opening FMV looked very nice and Sora's statement at the beginning stoked my curiosity. Upon arriving in the Dive to the Heart, I was confused as to why there was no voice acting, considering it was a PS2 game. The manner of combat was also nothing like I had ever known, and the camera wasn't really that great so it didn't help.
 
After fending off the strange black shadows and opening an equally strange door, I appeared in a island. And then I saw it, the thing that set me on the Kingdom Hearts path: Tidus and Wakka. Two of my favorite characters from the second PS2 game I ever owned, and they were kids! A busload of questions started running through my mind as to why these two were children, as well as who the young girl was. She had Rikku's green eyes, and Yuna's brown hair, it was very perplexing because I had never played any Final Fantasy game before X, so I didn't know that this was Selphie. I thought for sure that Tidus and Wakka wouldn't be seperated from Rikku(they were the ones who were always together in water, and I was on an island, so...).
 
It was after answering their questions that I had to leave and head home, and when I got back I almost immediately(at least that's how I remember) went online and started looking up Kingdom Hearts-->
