Rewrites for the DisneyWiki
Keyblade
NOTE: This is meant to be a re-write of the Keyblade article for the Disney Wiki so that it is informative and understandable while not detailed and using little to no wording of the original Keyblade article on the Kingdom Hearts Wiki.
The Keyblade is a mysterious weapon heavily featured in the Kingdom Hearts series. Sora, King Mickey, and many other characters throughout the series wield the keyblade, and it is an important element to the battle between the Darkness and Light.
The Keyblade is usually used in fighting, but it has many other abilities. The most important ability featured throughout the series is the ability to lock and unlock any keyhole. The most apparent use of this ability is in the opening and sealing of the keyholes to the hearts of the worlds, as well as opening paths to other worlds. It also can transform into Keyblade Gliders, and, of course, be used to defeat the enemies the present themselves throughout the series. Different keychains can be attached to the Keyblade to change its appearance and form.
In the original Kingdom Hearts, Sora received the Keyblade during the Heartless invasion of Destiny Islands. At about the same time, King Mickey assigns Donald and Goofy to find "the key" and follow it. In Traverse Town, Donald and Goofy identify Sora as the key because of his Keyblade. Sora travels with Donald and Goofy to many worlds, finding and sealing the keyholes of the worlds to protect them from the Heartless. When the trio makes it to Hollow Bastion, Riku reveals that he was meant to wield the Keyblade instead of Sora, and takes the Keyblade for himself, leaving Sora alone. However, soon after, Sora takes the Keyblade back, proving that his own heart was stronger than Riku's. Frustrated and confused, Riku acquires a Keyblade from Ansem, one that he uses to unleash the darkness from people's hearts. Riku, now possessed by Ansem, later confronts Sora, and attacks Sora to free Kairi's heart, needed for both the Final Keyhole to Kingdom Hearts and his own Keyblade. Sora defeats the Ansem-possessed Riku, and uses the Keyblade of heart on himself to release Kairi's heart from within. At the End of the World, the trio attempts to close Kingdom Hearts after defeating Ansem. Riku and King Mickey then appear, and the King reveals that he had been traveling through the Realm of Darkness in search of the Realm's Keyblade, the Kingdom Key D. They closed the door and, together, Sora and Mickey seal the Door to Kingdom Hearts.
Kingdom Hearts II continues Sora, Donald, and Goofy's journey in search of Riku and King Mickey. Along the way, the come across and confront the mysterious Organization XIII. They learn from Axel during the Heartless invasion that the Organization was using Sora to create Kingdom Hearts, because every Heartless slayed with the Keyblade was releasing a heart that found its way to Kingdom Hearts. In this dark moment, Sora finds himself conflicted over continuing to defeat the Heartless and releasing hearts, or stop the Organization's plot of using the release hearts by defeating Heartless and allow the Heartless to roam free. Goofy assures him, however, that it was far more important to defeat the Heartless threatening the worlds than to foil that part of the Organization's plans. Later, in The World That Never Was, Riku gives Kairi a Keyblade of her own. Riku's own Keyblade had changed appearance to confirm his decision to walk "the road to dawn."
Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days reveals that the Organization had been using Roxas, Sora's Nobody, for their plans in the same way they later used Sora. They made Roxas slay Heartless with the Keyblade, which he could wield as Sora's Nobody, to release hearts from the Heartless. The Organization also made a replica of Roxas, Xion, using Sora's memories. Because of Xion's unique nature and the fact that Sora also harbored Ventus's heart, Xion too could wield the Keyblade. The Organization used Xion to release hearts even faster. Eventually, however, the Organization pit Roxas against Xion, deciding they truly only needed one of the two.
Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep introduces the concept of the Mark of Mastery exam, which Keyblade wielders must pass in order to be considered true Keyblade Masters. In addition, the concept of Keyblade Armor and the ability to convert the Keyblade into a Keyblade Glider is introduced. Xehanort also reveals the origins of the Keyblade, and how they were forged in the image of the original χ-blade during the Keyblade War. In his own pursuits to recreate the Keyblade War, Master Xehanort attempts to pit Ventus against the embodiment of his own darkness, Vanitas. Though he fails, he leaves open many means for him to continue to pursue his goals.
In Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, Sora and Riku go through the Mark of Mastery exam to become Keyblade Masters. Towards the end, Master Xehanort returns and reveals his new plan to recreate the Keyblade War. He reveals that at the end of the Keyblade War, the χ-blade was destroyed into twenty pieces, seven of light and thirteen of darkness. Knowing this, Xehanort reveals his plan to pit thirteen beings of darkness against seven of light. This was the purpose of the original Organization XIII, but since it failed, the new plan consisted of a new Organization made up of thirteen Xehanorts. Riku, Mickey, and others are able to foil Xehanort's plan, which included Sora as the last vessel, by saving Sora. Master Yen Sid, however, reveals that Xehanort will still go through with his plan because if they do not come up with seven guardians of light, Xehanort will target the Seven Princesses of Light. Either way, the χ-blade could be forged and a new Keyblade War created. Lea, Axel's original persona, is revealed to have asked for the ability to wield the Keyblade, which he is able to at the end of the game.
Kingdom Hearts III will feature Sora, Donald and Goofy in their search for a new Keyblade, the Keyblade to Return Hearts. It will also feature Xehanort's new Organization and his attempt to forge the Keyblade in his pursuit to recreate the Keyblade War.
Disney Castle/Disney Town/Timeless River
Disney Castle is a world that appears in the Kingdom Hearts series. It is the home of King Mickey, Goofy, Donald Duck, and many other of the classic Walt Disney characters. The design of the castle is based upon the design of the Magic Kingdom at Disney Parks.
Disney Town is the town that surrounds Disney Castle. It first appears in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep. It is designed similarly to Toon Town in Disneyland in Anaheim, California.
Timeless River is a world that appears in Kingdom Hearts II. It is a past version of Disney Castle and Disney Town, back during the Castle's construction. It is based and designed on Walt Disney's early Mickey Mouse cartoons, Including 1928 Steamboat Willie.
Story
Disney Castle first appeared in Kingdom Hearts in cutscenes towards the beginning of the game. Donald goes to greet King Mickey one morning when he finds the throne empty and only a letter in Pluto's mouth. Following orders from the King in the letter and accompanied by Goofy, Pluto, and Jiminy Cricket, he leaves in search of "the key" and the King.
The world is visible on the World Map to the left of Traverse Town, but is inaccessible throughout the game.
During the ending credits, Huey, Dewey, and Louie are seen returning to Disney Castle.
In Kingdom Hearts II, the castle plays a bigger role as it is overrun by the Heartless. Queen Minnie summons Sora, Donald, and Goofy to the castle, and, upon arriving, the Queen takes the trio to the Hall of the Cornerstone, where the Cornerstone of Light is seen surrounded by thorns. Maleficent is revealed to be behind the mess, and she demands Disney Castle be turned over to her or she would destroy the Cornerstone of Light. The trio seeks help from Merlin, who summons a door to Timeless River, a version of Disney Castle from before the castle's construction. Sora, Donald, and Goofy go through the door, where they find the monochrome world and an unprotected Cornerstone of Light at the top of Cornerstone Hill, and the trio try to find the cause of troubles in Disney Castle. They soon learn of the nature of Timeless River, that it is a world in the past, and that events in that world would affect the town in the future, i.e. the present that they had just come from. Along the way, they run across a past version of Mickey, who helps them as they search for the truth. They find that Pete has also gotten access to the world. Under orders from Maleficent, he tries to take the Cornerstone of Light and destroy it so the Castle becomes vulnerable in the present. With help from Pete from the past (which they repeatedly confuse with Pete from the present), they are able to beat Pete from the present out of Timeless River and seal his (the?) door. They return to the Castle in the present, where the thorns have disappeared. From then on, Timeless River is still accessible through the door in the Hall of the Cornerstone.
Later, in the Final Mix version of Kingdom Hearts II, a dark blue portal appears in the Hall of the Cornerstone that leads to the Keyblade Graveyard, where the Lingering Will is found.
During the ending credits, Huey, Dewey, Louie, Pluto, Scrooge McDuck, Donald, Goofy, and King Mickey are seen having returned to Disney Castle. Later, Pete is shown driving his riverboat. Mickey runs to the dock, sees the departing boat, and runs and hops aboard. He then waves at the camera as the boat floats away.
In Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, Terra, Aqua, and Ventus all visit Disney Town, the town surrounding Disney Castle. The Annual Disney Town Dreams Festival is being held at the time, consisting of many games and events and the awarding of the Million Dreams Award, but because King Mickey is training with Master Yen Sid, Queen Minnie is struggling to carry it out on her own. Pete is making things more difficult, disguised as both Captain Justice, a hero, and Captain Dark, a villain.
Terra arrives in Disney Town first, and begins to chase after Unversed that appeared on the Rumble Racing track, only to almost get run over by Pete, disguised as Captain Dark, saved only by a warning from Queen Minnie. The Queen and Chip and Dale reprimand Terra, who tries to explain that rules don't apply with the Unversed. However, the Queen insists that if Terra wants to chase down the Unversed on the track, he should do so without breaking the rules, and they suggest he enter the races. Once the race is over, Terra realizes that he doesn't have to break the rules to get what he wants, and notices that he also doesn't have to give into the darkness to achieve his goals. Chip and Dale pledge their votes for the Million Dreams Award to Terra.
Ventus arrives in Disney Town next. He is initially greeted by Pete, posing as Captain Justice. However, he is interrupted by Huey, Dewey, and Louie, who are trying to make ice-cream using a machine Scrooge McDuck had left behind. Ventus attempts to and successfully helps the trio, who pledge their votes for the Million Dreams Award to Ventus.
Aqua is the last to arrive in Disney Town. She hears Horace Horsecollar ask for help, to which Pete, disguised as Captain Justice, arrives to promote himself as a hero. However, when Horace asks for help from Pete to deal with the Unversed at the Fruitball court, Pete makes excuses and runs away. Aqua volunteers to help out with the trouble. To do so, Aqua must play Fruitball against the Unversed. Upon succeeding, Queen Minnie appears to thank her, and Horace introduces Aqua to the Queen. The Queen explains to Aqua the Dream Festival, and Horace pledges his vote for the Million Dreams Award to Aqua.
Following this, Queen Minnie and the other residents of Disney Town are seen at the Ice Cream tent, where the Queen presents the Million Dreams Award to Terra, Ventus, and Aqua. Hearing this, Pete storms onto the stage, demanding a recount, sure that he had received all the votes. However, despite showing up in both his disguises, he receives no award, and the Queen calls for his arrest. The Magic Brooms appear and carry Pete off the stage and out of Disney Town.
During the ending credits, Huey, Dewey, and Louie are seen racing in the Rumble Races. Huey wins the race with Queen Minnie, Horace Horsecollar, Pluto, Chip and Dale watching and cheering in the sidelines.
In Kingdom Hearts Re:coded, Jiminy is seen reviewing his empty journal from their first journey, and finds a new message that he didn't write. King Mickey asks Chip and Dale to construct a device to digitize the journal, and, along with Donald and Goofy, they begin to oversee Data-Sora debugging the journal so that they can identify the source of the message. Pete sneaks into the Castle and is spying on the group as they debug the journal. At some point, Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Jiminy, and Pete are sucked into the journal along with a copy of the Disney Castle Library. Because they are inside the journal, Heartless appear in the digital version of the Castle's Library, which Mickey quickly destroys. A digital version of Riku appears, revealing that he brought them all in to help him figure out why the bugs are there, and informing them that they must debug the journal in order to return to the real Disney Castle.
When the debugging is complete, Mickey is seen writing a letter to Sora, Kairi, and Riku about his findings in the journal, and about the hearts connected to them, referring to Roxas, Xion, Naminé, Terra, Aqua, and Ventus.
In Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, Maleficent and Pete are able to break into Disney Castle and kidnap Queen Minnie. Maleficent sends her raven, Diablo, with the Queen's crown and a letter to Mysterious Tower, demanding that Mickey return to the Castle. Master Yen Sid advises Mickey to return at once, and once he is gone, Yen Sid notes that Maleficent would only do something this drastic if she felt a change in the darkness, such as the return of Master Xehanort. Once Mickey returns with Donald and Goofy, Maleficent demands that Mickey hand over the Castle to her, which Mickey refuses, knowing Maleficent wants something else. It is then that she reveals that she knew of Xehanort, and that thanks to him, she began her quest to take over the worlds. Maleficent then orders the data of all the worlds from the datascape Mickey traveled in the journal in Kingdom Hearts Re:coded. When he refuses, Maleficent attacks, but is stopped thanks to a sudden entrance from Lea. His attacks distract Pete long enough for Minnie to escape. With their leverage gone, Maleficent and Pete leave Disney Castle.
Mini-games
In Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, Disney Town is host to several mini-games as a result of the Dream Festival.
Rumble Racing
Rumble Racing is one of the events that make up the Dream Festival. It is a simple lap-race through Disney Town, in which the character must race against several Unversed, Huey, Dewey, Louie, and Pete. The character races through using a recolored Keyblade Glider. There are four tracks that can be raced in. The Country Chase is a track that runs in the country and dirt roads surrounding and just outside Disney Town. The Disney Drive track runs through various sections of the town. The Grand Spree track is the same as the Country Chase track, but in reverse. The Castle Circuit track runs through the interior of Disney Castle, and runs through the halls, courtyard, and the underground Gummi Garage areas.
Ice Cream Beat
Ice Cream Beat is an mini-game playable in Disney Town as part of the Dream Festival. It is a rhythm game, in which the purpose is to match the beat of the song to launch scoops of ice cream at the cones that Huey, Dewey, and Louie in order to get the highest stack of ice cream possible. There are five songs, each with both a Beginning and Intermediate difficulty. The difference in each case is that the intermediate difficulty has more beats to match than the beginning difficulty. The songs are also unlocked in order of difficulty. Once a song is selected, Huey, Dewey, and Louie will begin to dance and clap to show where and when to clap. When prompted, the player must push the button to match the beat of the song. The first song unlocked is a variation of "It's a Small World", followed by "Blast Away! -Gummi Ship II-" from Kingdom Hearts, "Dessert ★ Paradise", "Destiny Islands" from Kingdom Hearts, and "Hand in Hand" from Kingdom Hearts.
Fruitball
Fruitball is a mini-game found as part of the Dream Festival in Disney Town. The objective is to hit fruit using the Keyblade to score a goal into the opposing goal. However, neither side can pass the half-court. There are five kinds of fruit that appear in the rounds. Bananas and Grapes can both break apart if they take too much damage, the former causing a hazard as it becomes a peel either side can slip on. Watermelon and Pineapples have the potential of stunning characters if they're thrown into them. Finally, Apples have no special effect. There are three rounds, the first being against some Unversed, the second against Chip and Dale, and the third against Pete.

Trivia
- Because Disney Castle is not based on any Disney movie, it is the only Disney-based world in the game that doesn't borrow anything from the productions. It is based plot-wise, only borrowing characters instead.
- In the Audience Chamber, there are statues of Donald and Goofy in full regalia, or their ancestors, and in the Library, there are two portraits of Mickey's ancestors. The Audience Chamber also contains a sculpture resembling the Kingdom Hearts logo. On the desk in the library there is a photo of King Mickey and Queen Minnie in their normal Disney clothes. Furthermore, several of the hedges in the Courtyard are patterned after the band players from The Band Concert, one of them bearing a resemblance to Horace Horsecollar.
- Disney Castle was shown as a playable world in an early trailer for Kingdom Hearts, but was removed from the finished game.
- The statue of Donald in the Audience Chamber wears a shirt similar to the one Donald wears during the Pomp and Circumstance segment in Fantasia 2000.
- As noted in the Kingdom Hearts II Official Strategy Guide, it is yet to be clarified whether the Mickey that appears in Timeless River is the Mickey Mouse that resides in Timeless River, or the present version, who somehow followed Sora, Donald, and Goofy to the past.
Radiant Garden
Radiant Garden is a world that appears in the Kingdom Hearts series. The world was ruled by Ansem the Wise, and is made up of a town and a castle that overlooks the town. The town is surrounded by a tall brick wall. It also serves as the home of several Final Fantasy characters.
Hollow Bastion is the world's name after the Heartless invade and Maleficent takes over the world nine years before the first Kingdom Hearts. After the Master Control Program is destroyed in Kingdom Hearts II, Tron reminds everyone of the town's true name.
Story
In Kingdom Hearts, Hollow Bastion is the penultimate world, and serves as Maleficent's headquarters, having taken over the world and overrun it with Heartless. When Sora, Donald, and Goofy arrive, they find the Beast, injured and beaten by Riku. Riku declares himself the real Keyblade wielder, and seizes the Keyblade away from Sora. Shocked, Sora collapses. Donald and Goofy proceed to follow Riku, following the King's orders to follow the "key." Riku leaves. Despite his injury, Beast gets up and continues onwards, explaining that he must find someone important to him. This spurs Sora to continue his journey too, so the two team up.
After traversing the castle, Beast is separated when he sees an illusion of Belle that then turns into a Heartless, enraging him to the point where he pounces on the illusion with doors closing behind him. Afterwards, Riku attacks Sora since he refused to surrender. Luckily, Goofy saves him, promising not to betray Sora or the King, and then Donald joins the party. The strength of his friendship causes the Keyblade to return to Sora. Riku attacks them, but is defeated, and he runs away. At this point, the Beast rejoins the party.
As Riku flees from the area, he encounters Ansem, Seeker of Darkness, who convinces Riku to succumb to the Darkness. Meanwhile, Sora, Donald, and Goofy venture forward and confront Maleficent, who is quickly beaten, making her retreat to Riku. With his newly acquired "Keyblade of heart", Riku stabs Maleficent and releases her darkness to transform her into a dragon. However, Sora's party defeat Maleficent again. Riku reveals that Maleficent was simply a pawn under the control of the Heartless, despite her believing it was her in control, and he leaves. Sora and the gang continue until they reach the Seven Princesses of Heart and the world's Keyhole. Here, Sora finds the comatose Kairi. Riku reveals that her missing heart is within Sora, and that the Keyhole is incomplete without it. At this point, Riku identifies himself as Ansem, the Seeker of Darkness. He traps Donald and Goofy outside and battles Sora alone, so that he can release Kairi's heart. Sora emerges as the victor and attempts to seal the Keyhole but to no avail. Sealing the Keyhole is impossible when the Keyhole is incomplete. To remedy this, Sora uses Riku's Keyblade to stab himself and release Kairi's heart, destroying the Keyblade and also releasing the hearts of the other princesses in the process. Kairi awakens to see Sora disappears. Ansem appears and attacks Kairi, but Riku, who is trapped within, manages to stop Ansem long enough to give time for Kairi, Donald, and Goofy to escape. The escapists then find themselves surrounded by Heartless. Kairi identifies one as Sora and hugs the Sora-turned-Heartless to protect him from the other attacking Heartless. This act causes Sora to return to his human self. The Beast return to the group, telling them that he wouldn't leave without Belle, and so the group leave Hollow Bastion without him.
On their return, the group find the Beast reunited with Belle. They also encounter a mysterious Unknown figure that attacks Sora's group, but only to lose. They jump through the Keyhole to seal it and depart to finish Ansem off.
In Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories, Hollow Bastion, along with Belle, Beast, and Maleficent, appears again as figment of Sora's memories. There, Belle denies her love for the Beast to protect him from Maleficent. However, Belle is unable to completely suppress her love, and Sora has to defeat Maleficent. In the basement, Hollow Bastion appears in Riku's story, where he has to defeat Maleficent in her dragon form.
Hollow Bastion plays an active role again in Kingdom Hearts II. It first appears as part of flashbacks in Roxas's dreams, cutscenes playing out of Sora's original journey. Later, when Sora awakens, he, Donald, and Goofy travel to Hollow Bastion, where they find Yuffie, Leon, Aerith, Cid, and Merlin. The group are part of the new Hollow Bastion Restoration Committee, which meets in Merlin's House. The committee plans to restore Hollow Bastion to its former glory, before the Heartless invaded. After a minor encounter with Nobodies and Organization XIII, Sora promises to return and help the group deal with the Heartless gathered outside town.
When Sora, Donald, and Goofy return to Hollow Bastion, they learn that the Restoration Committee has found Ansem's Computer and lab, and they go to the castle to find Leon and see the computer. While waiting for Leon to return, Donald climbs on the computer to chase after Stitch, who had fallen on the keyboard. Then, the Master Control Program is heard cautioning against the continuous stomping of the keyboard, which Donald had done by stepping on it. When Donald attempts to get off, the MCP fires a laser that takes the trio into Space Paranoids. They later return from inside the computer in search of the password to the DTD. During their search, they find a drawing for the Door to Darkness, which they find is the DTD. Then, King Mickey arrives, and gives them a clue as to the password. The trio returns to Space Paranoids to help Tron. When they return from the computer, they begin to attempt to get information from the computer regarding Riku, Kairi, and the Organization. When the computer returns each query by saying the data is corrupt, Sora pounds the keyboard in frustration, causing an image of Ansem the Wise to appear. The King appears then, and explains to Sora, Donald, and Goofy that Ansem, Seeker of Darkness was actually someone else who took the name of Ansem the Wise, and that the fake Ansem's Nobody was the leader of Organization XIII. A minor quake causes the group to rush outside to witness the damage the Heartless have caused in Hollow Bastion, destroying and severely damaging a wall. Though Mickey tells the trio to go and find Riku and Kairi, Sora, Donald, and Goofy defy the King's orders and run ahead to help out Leon and the gang in Hollow Bastion. They soon encounter Demyx, who after looking confused and afraid for several minutes, attacks the group, though the trio defeat and destroy him. The King appears then, apparently angry at the trio, though he comes to understand their motives and sets out with them. A Heartless blasts a rock that hurls towards the King. Goofy pushes the King out of the way, but the rock then hits him and knocks him out, seemingly dead. Angered, the King, Donald, and Sora run out to destroy the Heartless that are invading Hollow Bastion. They continue separately, Leon, Yuffie, Tifa, and Cloud helping Sora out along the way. While they take a break, Goofy suddenly appears, noting that he often gets hit in the head. The group continues to the Great Maw, where most of the Heartless are gathered. There, Mickey remembers Xehanort's name as the apprentice to Ansem the Wise. A battle of 1000 Heartless ensues, and the group sets out separately to destroy them. Then, they catch up to the King and the leader of Organization XIII. But before they are able to question him, the mysterious character disappears, the King chasing right after him. Then, Axel appears, and tells the group about Xemnas, the Nobody of Xehanort and leader of the Organization, as well as apologizing for kidnapping Kairi. He also explains that Sora is actually helping the Organization by slaying the Heartless, which releases hearts that become Kingdom Hearts. However, he runs as Saix appears, who promises that Axel would be punished for betraying the Organization and refuses to take Sora to Kairi. Though Maleficent appears and attempts to make an alliance with Sora to defeat the Organization and the Nobodies, she is quickly defeated, leaving Sora frustrated and confused on how to proceed without using the Keyblade. The three are suddenly taken to a dark area, where a hooded man gives them a box with ice cream and a photo of Hayner, Olette, Pence, and Roxas in Twilight Town. The ice cream then acts as the next gateway.
Upon their return, they find that the Master Control Program has seized control of the town maintenance system, and is releasing Heartless into Hollow Bastion using the Heartless Manufactory. Sora, Donald, and Goofy fight their way through town to Ansem's Computer and once more go into Space Paranoids. When they defeat the MCP, Tron takes control of the system, after which he reveals to the gang the way the town once looked, and reminding them of the town's true name, Radiant Garden.
In Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, Hollow Bastion appears in a flash of memories to Roxas.
Radiant Garden returns in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep. Terra arrives first to hunt down Vanitas, though he soon begins to follow Master Xehanort. He soon sees a huge Unversed fly by, and chases after it. Aqua arrives and runs to the castle when Scrooge McDuck tells her he saw someone go to the castle. There, she finds a four-year-old Kairi under the attack of the Unversed. Though she attempts to protect the girl, Aqua soon finds that she is unable to fight, to which Mickey suddenly arrives. Together, they defeat the Unversed and join forces, though Mickey's Star Shard soon reacts and takes him away. Aqua then puts a protective spell on Kairi, which would one day take her to the Destiny Islands and the light of another. She then sees a huge Unversed fly by, and begins to follow after it. Ventus arrives in pursuit of Mickey, who goes into the castle, though Aeleus and Dilan keep him out of the castle. Then, a huge Unversed hovers by, and Ventus pursues it. The three friends follow their Unversed until they join together, and the trio of friends attacks the Unversed together. After this, Ventus gives Aqua and Terra tickets to the Dream Festival in Disney Town, which he had received earlier from Scrooge McDuck. Aqua then reveals that she was watching Terra on orders from Master Eraqus, which makes him angry, and he storms off. Ventus, equally hurt by Aqua's actions, soon follows after. Terra encounters Braig, who claims that he has Master Xehanort hostage, and will release him in exchange for the Keyblade. Terra follows Braig beyond the town, where he battles Braig and ultimately gives into his own darkness. Ashamed, Terra realizes he cannot return home but Xehanort tells him that he doesn't have to, and makes Terra a true Keyblade Master. Ventus, meanwhile, saves a young orphan, Ienzo, from the Unversed. A scientist named Even then appears and thanks Ven, noting that he feels they will meet again. Two teenagers appear then, Lea and Isa. Lea challenges Even, but loses embarrassingly. Lea says that he makes friends so that he can live forever in the memories of others. Ventus, reminded of his friends, goes in search of Terra and Aqua. Aqua, meanwhile, encounters Vanitas, and fights him. He compliments her on her abilities, and mysteriously leaves. Ventus arrives and asks Aqua if he can go with her, but she tells him to go home before she leaves again. He continues to where Terra is, but he leaves without him.
In the Final Episode, Aqua returns to Radiant Garden to find Terra. There, she battles a Xehanort-possessed Terra, who attempts in the end to destroy Terra by turning the Keyblade on himself. Terra-Xehanort falls into a pool of Darkness that surrounds him. Aqua dives in to save him, but is trapped herself in the Realm of Darkness. Ansem arrives, brought by Braig, and asks the now-amnesic Xehanort his name. The only thing the young man can remember is the name "Xehanort".
A data version of Hollow Bastion appears in Kingdom Hearts Re:coded. After Maleficent destroys Data-Sora's Keyblade and captures Riku, Data-Sora storms through Hollow Bastion unarmed to chase Pete, who is detaining Data-Riku. During the way, Data-Sora teams up with Donald and Goofy, who had entered the datascape. In the Grand Hall, Data-Sora manages to conjure up his Keyblade and beats Pete within the world's digital Keyhole. Pete makes Data-Riku, who had been bugged and corrupted, fight Data-Sora but Data-Sora comes out the victor. To cleans Data-Riku's bugs, Data-Sora enters inside Riku's data and eliminates the bugs one by one, turning out to be successful in the end despite the dangers.
Radiant Garden appears in Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance. In the opening, a flashback is seen to when Xehanort released the hearts of the other five apprentices, and declares himself as Ansem. Later, in Ansem's Computer room, Lea, Even, Aeleus, Dilan, and Ienzo appear on the floor. Only Lea, Aeleus, and Ienzo awaken, the other two still "out cold", though stable. Lea searches the castle for Braig and Isa, but when he is unable to find them, he takes his search beyond Radiant Garden.

Manga Chapter List Template
Update 1: Still Testing KeybladeSpyMaster 03:01, 11 April 2014 (UTC)
Update 2: I'm trying to understand the code for Template:Episode list/Sublist on Wikipedia. If we can get it to work with Template:Comicstory, we would only need to input the data once, on the volume chapter list, and use the sublist template to print the data again on the master chapter list page. KeybladeSpyMaster 03:40, 24 April 2014 (UTC)
Update 3: Appears to work for now, will seek approval before proceeding. I'm using a different color to represent the game, in this case, a dark blue sampled from the logo for Kingdom Hearts. I think if we do a master chapter list hub page, we should use colors to represent each game.
If approved, all that will be left is the sublist, which allows for the data to be input once, and then be posted twice with one command line (see Template:Episode list/sublist). KeybladeSpyMaster 23:19, 24 April 2014 (UTC)
