So I watched Hercules recently, and I noticed that the coliseum where Herc argues with Phil is actually situated in Thebes, not on Olympus so I was wondering if it is actually the Olympus coliseum like it says in the article or just a normal coliseum and the one in KH was just created specifically for KH.

:Olympus Coliseum is only the Coliseum, the Underworld, and a random town ''near'' Thebes. Olympus is the mountain, Thebes, and the Realm of the Gods, so they are different locations, like Monstro/PP, and HB/RG. The same applies to Timeless River/Disney Town/Disney Castle. We never actually see a location that is part of more than one of these worlds. I haven't been to the Caribbean yet, so I don't know how that works yet. Also, one of the loading screen social media things in KH3, mentions that Yen Sid can move his tower, which would explain it being part of Twilight Town in one game, and separate in another. {{User:TheSilentHero/Sig}} 20:01, 29 January 2019 (UTC)
::I'd have to disagree with the coliseum being separate from realm of the gods -- the characters make a specific comment about hearing the same fanfare they always heard from the coliseum, and hercules' plot in particular consists of him going back and forth between these areas. Really, that's the issue with the main three I'm asking about -- those that are easier to differentiate, you don't have the characters going back and forth, and honestly you barely have interaction between these subworlds. However, Disney Town has Minnie going back and forth to the Castle, Olympus has Hercules spending his time at the Coliseum but also (implied per dialogue) going out to do heroics in Thebes.
::For Mysterious Tower, I'm talking about the differentiation between the waking and sleeping versions. While the tower itself appears within the 3D world, the symphony seems to only include the musical books.

This would apply for all world pages, but I'm posting it here. I tried to write the section without dividing by game, but I got stuck on the very first room name. You see, the Coliseum Gates are called:
*Coliseum Gates - コロシアム前 (Coliseum Front) in KH
*Coliseum Gates - コロシアム:入口広場 (Coliseum: Entry Square) in KH2 and BBS
*Outside the Coliseum - コロシアム前 (Coliseum Front) in Days
*Outside the Coliseum - オリンポスコロシアム 広場 (Olympus Coliseum: Square) in Recoded
*Coliseum Entrance - コロシアム入り口広場 (Coliseum Entry Square) in KHX
So, we have two cases of Coliseum Gates, but with different Japanese names, two cases of Outside the Coliseum, also with different Japanese names, but one name is the same as one for Coliseum Gates, and one case of Coliseum Entrance, with a Japanese name almost identical to one of the Coliseum Gates ones. So, either we could remove all Japanese names from these sections, leading to something like "'''Coliseum Gates''', also called '''Outside the Coliseum''' or '''Coliseum Entrance'''", or we just organize it by game. I get that it is preferable to have one in-universe section, because the world doesn't change much between games, but with the inconsistent naming, it just becomes confusing or way too long. {{User:TheSilentHero/Sig}} 17:13, 7 May 2023 (UTC)
:An in-universe approach would be nice if the different games didn't sometimes completely disregard the previous games layout. Monstro's mouth in KH1 leads to both Chamber 1 and the Throat, while in DDD it only leads to Monstro: Gullet which isn't just a different name but a completely new area. Halloween Town and Agrabah also changes drastically between games that having one in-universe description trying to make all these areas connect and overlap feels a bit overwhelming and almost impossible. In those instances we'll have to constantly keep referring to that "this area leads to that area in that game, but not in this other game as it leads to this place instead." Also, regarding the Japanese names, I don't quite get the necessity to have them, but it is something we consistently do for all characters, enemies, worlds, abilities, items, and so on, so I therefor think we should keep them. My personal preferred solution is to divided them by game. - {{User:JTD95/Signature}} 21:44, 8 May 2023 (UTC)
:Any other members wishes to weigh in on this? I still stand by that they should be divided into games, but there should somewhat of an agreement before we start doing changes. As of now it's quite inconsistent across the world pages. - {{User:JTD95/Signature}} 18:30, 31 May 2023 (UTC)
::I concur, I think organizing it by game makes it substantially more readable, especially for worlds with maps. Generally, I'm in favor of sorting the sections by game order, rather than in-universe chronological order, since that gets weird for data-based, memory-based, and projection-based versions of worlds. —[[User:Aid1043|Aid1043]] ([[User talk:Aid1043|talk]]) 23:39, 31 May 2023 (UTC)

Spelling[edit]
I know Colosseum is the proper spelling, but the game uses the "Coliseum" spelling. Any thoughts?--Dreyfus 23:00, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
- Oops, I should've looked here before moving. I moved because of that, I think we should go with the in-game spelling, but I can move it back if there are major objections (normally anyone can revert moves, but I had to delete a redirect to do this one, so...). Scottch 05:14, 7 January 2007 (UTC)
Trivia check![edit]
It says only Destiny Islands and Hollow Bastion are the other worlds in all three games, but wasn't 100 Acre Wood in all 3 too?

Also, it says that the clip with Maleficent still plays, but i saw a video on youtube where they went there after hollow bastion and maleficent was edited out...
It's set after the movie[edit]
Someone removed this info I contributed saying that KHII used the movie's plot, but this isn't correct. There's some references to the film (Hades using Hercules's relationship with Meg in his ploy, Hades falling into the Styx, the Hydra), but the main plot in this world is Hades using Auron to fight Hercules and reopening the Underdrome with Pete's assistance, tricking Sora into unlocking it. It's been a while since I saw the film, but I don't remember anything about an Underdrome, so I deduce it is something they made up for the game (and obviously Auron isn't in the movie, either). Also, Zeus and Mount Olympus are only mentioned in KHII while in the film the whole plot revolves around Hades wanting to take over Mount Olympus and overthrow Zeus. With all this in mind, I'm putting back the info I contributed. And as my contributed info already stated, Hercules already has his divine glow in the first KH, which he attains at the end of the film. I.e. the world is set after the events of the film. KHD mini-games[edit]
- Beginner's Training (Mission 36)

- Champ's Challenge (Mission 46)
There are also a few that aren't listed for points, but are treated more like the normal cups:
- Mission 61: Games
- Mission 73: Games
The first three are obviously variations on Phil's Training, but do we want to consider 61 and 73 (Games 1 and Games 2) as full-fledged cups? They do act like it, at least.Glorious CHAOS! 03:40, July 19, 2010 (UTC)
- Yes, I think we should treat them as cups. They have seeds and plenty of enemies. But do they have cups? I don't really remember. I might be able to play a holo-mission to find out, though. --LegoAlchemist 04:18, July 19, 2010 (UTC)
- When I said "cups", I was actually refering to the prize you win at the end...
- Anyway, I replayed those missions last night and got a list of seeds and the enemies in them. I'll swing them by when I get to a decent computer. And, for the record, there are no "cups" as prizes when you beat them.
- EDIT: Okay, here it is:
- Mission 61
- Shadow x3, Soldier x3
- Hover Ghost x7
- Striped Aria x3, Ice Cannon
- Yellow Opera x4, Tailbunker
- Xigbar
- Guard Armor
- Mission 73
- Sky Grappler, Air Battler x2
- Jumbo Cannon x3, Li'l Cannon x6
- Snowy Crystal x2. Switch Launcher
- Watcher x4, Ice Cannon
- Stalwart Blade

- Point of order, the lineups change a bit for mission mode. --Neumannz, The Dark Falcon 16:14, August 2, 2010 (UTC)
Underworld Characters[edit]
Shouldn't the titans be moved to the Underworld page? I know that they're fought at the Coliesum, but they do originate from the Underworld.--63.107.215.212 02:01, August 27, 2010 (UTC)
- Weeeell, no, they don't really. They were imprisoned deep in the earth, but they didn't come from the Underworld. --Neumannz, The Dark Falcon 02:33, August 27, 2010 (UTC)
