Magic +1 (マジック+1 Majikku +1 ), Magic +2 (マジック+2 Majikku +2 ), Magic +3 (マジック+3 Majikku +3 ) and Magic +4 (マジック+4 Majikku +4 ) are a series of stat chips that appear in Kingdom Hearts Re:coded. When installed into the Stat Matrix, they increase Data-Sora's Magic by the number stated in the chip's name. When installed between two active CPUs, their effects are doubled.
Obtaining Magic chips
- Data-Sora can obtain Magic +1 from a rare prize blox on Layer 01.
- Data-Sora can obtain Magic +1 from a rare prize blox on Layer 09.
- Data-Sora can obtain Magic +1 from a rare prize blox in the Waterway.
- Data-Sora can purchase Magic +1 from Destiny Islands: Sector A for 70 SP.
- Data-Sora can purchase Magic +1 from Destiny Islands: Sector C for 3000 SP.
- Data-Sora can purchase Magic +1 from Traverse Town: Sector A for 300 SP.
- Data-Sora can purchase Magic +1 from Traverse Town: Sector C for 100 SP.

- Data-Sora can obtain a Magic chip as an enemy drop.
Drops
- Magic: Invisible (0.05%),[1] Angel Star (0.03%),[2] Gold Tricholoma (0.20%)[3]
- The dropped chip has a 100% chance of being Magic +1 when the Gold Tricholoma is at level 29 or less, a 50% chance between level 30 and level 59, and a 30% chance at level 60 and above.
- The dropped chip has a 30% chance of being Magic +2 when the Gold Tricholoma is between level 30 and level 59, and a 25% chance at level 60 and above.
- The dropped chip has a 20% chance of being Magic +3 when the Gold Tricholoma is between level 30 and level 59, and a 25% chance at level 60 and above.
- The dropped chip has a 20% chance of being Magic +4 when the Gold Tricholoma is at level 60 and above.

- ^ The Invisible drops a random stat chip 0.05% of the time if the difficulty is set to Critical Mode. The dropped chip may be any chip, excluding a Level Up, a Trophy Chip, a Blank Chip or a Lucky Strike.
