The Trinity Armor is so far the only boss who fights Terra, Ven, and Aqua at the same time in each story, so the tactic to defeating it is the same. When combined it attacks by charging and punching the party which can be easily avoided or blocked. Its deadliest attack is rotating around in place while shooting a giant laser from its chest which can be dodged by performing a Shotlock. It may also jump into the air and fire the laser from above. The former attack can be predicted as the boss always glows with dark energy beforehand. Simply dodge its attacks and attack with anything that causes damage: Shotlocks, D-links, or Command Styles until it's down to 1 HP bar, then its attack patterns change drastically. It now separates into its three smaller parts. The parts attack individually or in concert. The torso attacks by spinning around shooting fireballs or lasers, and it may rocket high into the air to avoid damage. The helicopter arms attack by shooting lasers. The legs attack by bouncing around creating shock waves. The parts attack together by spinning around the field or rotating around while shooting a triangular field of energy. The best tip is to destroy them in the following order: legs, arms, torso. By following this strategy, the Unversed will fall with ease.

The Trinity Armor (トリニティアーマー Toriniti Āmā?) is a giant, robotic Unversed fought in Radiant Garden made out of three individual parts like the Guard Armor Heartless. The Trinity Armor fights against Terra, Ventus, and Aqua at the same time.

Worlds Fought

Story

As Terra, Aqua, and Ventus explore the Radiant Garden they each chase a large Unversed into the mining area. The three Keybearers finally reunite, but the reunion is short-lived as the three Unversed combine into the massive Trinity Armor. It then fights the Keyblade masters, but is defeated after a lengthy battle.

Design

The Trinity Armor is a large, robotic Unversed that bears a striking resemblance to the Guard Armor heartless as it is made up of three smaller Unversed. One resembles a small helicopter that makes up the arms. Another makes up the legs and the last one makes up the head. When combined, a black helmet will appear to complete it's transformation. Both helmets have red eyes set in an angered expression.

Abilities

The Trinity Armor mainly uses its size and strength in battle, but it also uses other abilities such as shooting fireballs high into the air which are scattered across the arena. It can also attack by charging or punching the party. Its more dangerous attack is rotating around the arena while shooting a laser from its chest. When separated, each part attacks individually or in concert. The head can spin around shooting fireballs or lasers in different directions and can also rocket away to avoid damage. The helicopter arms attack mainly by spinning around and firing lasers. The legs attack by bouncing around, creating shockwaves. They may also attack in concert by rotating around the arena and shooting lightning down the center.

Strategy

The Trinity Armor is so far the only boss who fights Terra, Ven, and Aqua at the same time in each story, so the tactic to defeating it is the same. When combined it opens the fight by shooting fireballs high into the air which land and scatter across the arena. It also attacks by charging and punching the party which can be easily avoided or blocked.

Etymology

The former part of the Trinity Armor's name represents how the parts of the armor work together in battle.
