The Metamorphosis (メタモフォシス Metamofoshisu) is an alien-like Unversed that appears in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, serving as a boss battle for Ventus. It appears in Deep Space, attacking Ventus as he travels in-between worlds. It later sneaks aboard the Grand Councilwoman's massive spaceship, Ventus giving chase. The Metamorphosis causes the ship's engine to go out of control; in response, Ventus confronts it in battle and defeats it with the assistance of Experiment 626.
