Asura (阿修羅 Ashura ) is one of Xaldin's weapons in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. It can be upgraded to Asura+.
Design
An Asura lance's shaft is white in the center with indigo ends, with the two colors being separated by small, gold rings. The lower blade is orange and shaped like an arrowhead. The upper blade is also orange. It is long with a diamond-shaped tip and a thin spike on either side. It also has an indigo diamond towards the base of the blade.
Etymology
Asura/Ashura is both a recurring Katana weapon and Summon in the Final Fantasy series, as well as a boss in Final Fantasy IV and Vagrant Story. Asura is also the name of one of the servers from Final Fantasy XI.
Asuras are also mythological creatures in both Hinduism, in which they were groups of power-seeking deities, and Buddhism, in which they are considered one of the Six Domains.
