I have to disagree with what you said in your edit summary in the Axel article. First of all, Saix is a bad example because he views Xion as nothing more than a puppet, and pretty much openly hates her and Roxas for having such a close bond with Axel, with whom his own friendship has become strained as a result. Secondly, it has been stated numerous times in 358/2 Days and the corresponding manga, by several characters (including, but not limited to, Roxas, Axel, Demyx, and Xemnas), that Xion is the organization's number XIV. I have a ton of interests that span a variety of subjects, so when I got my Wikia account I wanted to pick something that wouldn't ally me with any one series or medium. I've been obsessed with gemstones since I was a kid, so I figured I'd include the semi-precious lapis lazuli, hence the Lapis half. And I was going through a phase where I was really interested in Egyptian mythology at the time, noticed that lapis lazuli was often used to make scarab amulets. Thus, LapisScarab! McCartney as Ventus Cont'd

Your confirmation about Jesse McCartney voicing Ventus has been up on the official English website for three days. It's in the game play video, one full viewing of it shows Aqua, Terra and Ventus's voice actors in action, and it is almost unbearably clear that Jesse McCartney is voicing Ventus in that video. And it's obviously not from Kingdom Hearts II, so the only obvious conclusion is that, yes after all this speculation, Ventus does indeed share the same voices in both English and Japanese as Roxas. This is more then enough confirmation and any more videos will only further this confirmation.

And yet you guys are still arguing about whether or not he is the voice actor.

• It isn't harmful lol. Btw, I'd take the fact that Sora and Vanitas are voiced by the same Seiyu, while Roxas and Ventus have their own one. Normally in dubs, you keep that line intact. May that give some reference, or just wait for when you can see the credits. BGMaxie
  • And no, I wouldn't presume to know that Haley Joel Osment is voicing Vanitas, nor did I bring up that. Jesse McCartney confirmed his involvement in the game, and that video on the official site is more than enough proof that that is the character he is voicing. Osment has not confirmed any involvement with the game yet, so bringing him up in a conversation is meaningless in this case.

Are you saying that Sora and Vanitas sharing seiyuus in the Japanese version is evidence for Roxas and Ven sharing one? Because it isn't. If we have to wait for the credits, we will, but hopefully we won't have to. Once an explicit, written statement specifying McCartney's role as Ven is released, we will list him as the VA. Repeat after me: Formality.

And that's the dumbest thing I've heard today, especially since I just gave you something better than a written statement, I gave you an official video confirming that it is Jesse McCartney. All you need to do is watch, and you'll see why it obviously him.

That is in no way better than a written statement. Voices can always be mistaken for other voices. "Obviously" is too damn tricky to use as official, and we like to do "official" for who we post as VA's. It doesn't matter even if we "know", only if we're told by an official source, i.e. press conference or a statement from the VA him/herself. Rewording of World articles

Lapis, I brought up this situation in May on the Wonderland article, and under what looked like majority agreement it was agreed upon. Some of the articles contain unneeded emotion. I think things should be said on articles- for an okay analogy- like Saix. To the point, yet informational.

Read the Wonderland page (whenever you get the chance), and see if you think that's how they should be done. (I didn't rewrite the whole article, I just fixed the problems mentioned). I want your approval before I move on.

On the Agrabah page (and I'm assuming the rest I've corrected) have been changed back to the way they were. Is there anything that can be done? It feels like fighting a losing battle. Oh,how the sea calls 20:09, July 5, 2010 (UTC)

Japanese writing

I don't know if this has already been discussed, but there are many ways to write a single phrase (I have quite a bit of Knowledge in Japanese myself) and it seems like a lot of articles are using the inefficient way of writing it. The page has it written with an entire kanji in the place of the 'i' syllable, and that just makes no sense in Japanese grammar. t's done with separate words, but not within one. 1. That's the way the game spells it.
2. Searching google, just for that term, gives ~3 times as many results with the kanji.
3. Kanji are often used, even when the word is obvious, purely to assert meaning. Removing the kanji in favor of hiragana is roughly equivalent to removing capital letters and spacing from English words.Glorious CHAOS! 07:18, July 9, 2010 (UTC)

Synthesis Design

Well, for Lucid, it's just clear. It only looks black because the background "is".

The types used in the KH2 guide are "Modifier" and "Orichalcum". I guess "Elemental" would work for basic crystals, since they correspond to elemental powers. The Orichalcum's Illusion types match to the top two Tech variations, with the basic Tech having a unique design (So there's like 5 of that design species). I can't tell so well, but the Hidden Ore could possibly share designs with Premium Orb or Mineral type.

So:

• Elemental: Blazing, Frost, Lightnin, Lucid, Power, Dark, Dense, Twilight, Mythril, Gust, Shining, Shiny, Time, Rolling
• Modifier: Bright, Energy, Serenity, Chaos
• Tech: Orichalcum, Combo Tech, Rune Tech, Power Tech, Aerial Tech, Range Tech
• Mineral: Iron, Bronze, Dark Ingot, Silver, Gold, Mithril (Days), Orichalcum (Days)
• Gem: Moonstone, Diamond, Adamantite
• Other: Remembrance, Tranquil, Gear Component, Shield Tech, Ankharite, Luck Tech, Premium Orb, Hidden Ore

Elementals appear in Days, as well.
