What exactly is Joint Struggle?

One thing that has piqued my curiosity is will there be things like "Vanitas vs. Radiant Garden"? Because honestly, I don't know how that's gonna play out. World vs. Character, Song vs. World, how will those kinds of matches happen?

Pretty much what ShadowsTwilight said. Yes, the seeds will be randomized, so it's anybody's guess as to how it's going to play out. We've been planning the Joint Struggle since the conception of the Mirage Arena itself, and I'm hoping it'll be well received. You can expect the brackets and revised rules sometime this week, and the tournament should open in a week or so. After it's all over, we're gonna take a bit of a break from the Mirage Arena, and have a community-wide forum on how this first round went, and what we can improve on/fix. We've got a surprise waiting in the wings for all of you, so be on your toes... KKD

I've read threats to people, like "One more and you get a warning!" or something like that, so I wanted to know if you guys wanted me to make some templates. I'd be happy to do it.

Edit Count

AS IF! I have the right to know! I know that I don't have enough edits to vote yet, but I just have one or two questions. The rules ask users to check for Mainspace, Image, Main Page, Template, Walkthrough, Card, Kingdom Hearts Wiki, and MediaWiki edits; however, the edit count lists them as Main, Talk, User, User Talk, Kingdom Hearts Wiki, Kingdom Hearts Wiki Talk, File, Template, Help, and Forum edits. Might the rules be adjusted to work with these names (I don't know how many card, walkthrough, etc. edits I have, which makes it fairly confusing). Also, are we counting the edits we've made on other Wikia wikis as valid?

Well, seeing that Drive Forms are considered Weapons I guess we can say that Command Styles, Shotlocks, Dimension Links, Abilities and all of the sort that is in battle but isn't a Character or Enemy falls under the Weapons category. Please check for: Mainspace, Image, Main Page, Template, Walkthrough, Card, Kingdom Hearts Wiki, and MediaWiki edits." If the above were used, you would only have 34 edits. Make more edits in the above areas, and then you'll be able to vote.

Darth - Riku - This battle isn't over. And until it is, I still need the power of darkness! TALK - Come to the Dark Side! We have cooler Keyblades! I actually feel that a Userpage shouldn't count because I spent a whole mess of edits trying to fix it and haven't really done anything for the Wiki yet. So I'm not voting till I do. Heck, maybe it doesn't count anyway...

The Edit Sections

Ok, I know this is probably going to make me a sound like a complete and utter idiot, but could someone please tell me how to make a nedit in the Walkthrough, Card and MediaWiki category.Darkheart3

You can't make an edit in the MediaWiki category, only admins can do that. There is no Walkthroughspace, but edits to a personal walkthrough count. As for the Cardspace, just go to any Card: article and edit that. Chitalian8 10:49, 7 May 2011 (EDT)

Question about edit count

Recently, my votes were removed from the Joint Struggle brackets and I'm wondering why. One the main page, it says: "#You must have at least 130 edits before voting. Check your editcount Here, by typing in your username. Please check for: Mainspace, Image, Main Page, Template, Walkthrough, Card, Kingdom Hearts Wiki, and MediaWiki edits.", and when I check my edit count it says I have over the 130 required. But where my question is that is it only Mainspace edits that count or what? It does not clearly state whether that is the case or not. Thanks in advance.

When you tally up your total edits in those spaces, you have 76 edits, which makes you ineligible for the Mirage Arena.

For example, for me, Walkthrough, Card, and KHWiki spaces do appear. Mainspace is also there for both of us (it appears as (Main)), as does Template. Only admins can edit MediaWiki pages, so that won't appear. Main Page is no longer its own space, so that wouldn't appear, either. And Image is replaced with File. Just thought I'd let you know for future reference. More importantly, the conversation above is old, and is no longer relevant to the Mirage Arena. Due to low activity, the edit requirement has been lowered to 100 total edits (as seen in the official rules on the Mirage Arena page). You have 146 total edits, so if you want, you can vote in the Mirage Arena. If, as time goes by, we have more activity and a need to restrict access to the Mirage Arena, we will, and it will show on the Official Rules section. As for now, that is the edit requirement, so you don't have to worry about specific areas of the EditCount to vote.

Arena "Revamp"

SidVI - Rejoice! Victory is at hand! I cannot possibly lose! — 08:07, 4 February 2012 (UTC) Shouldn't this arena be open to every user on the wiki? I understand if this should be a reward, but the Mirage Arena can pull in more users (who are capable of working), and that would be beneficial to this wiki. Also, the Mirage Arena can do with more voters, which would be an even bigger opportunity to pull in new contributors.

Having the requirement gives users a reason to work.

Visual Revamp

So this is a tiny little suggestion - not very big! But still! It's just for the sake of looking pretty: Rather than post just plain renders for the characters, why not use use the cards from Chi!? 1-They're pretty! 2-They're more dynamic! 3-Just about every character in the franchise is covered. 4-If they aren't, I'll just make it! Banner

Dunno, how many of you guys can see this. But with photobucket's current policy, it messed with how the banner for the Mirage Arena appears. It's just a minor annoyance, but can be get around by a right click.--Doggieboy9 (talk) 03:07, 16 August 2017 (UTC)

Yeah, it's pretty publicly visible. We're working on a replacement plan for the most widely used images and such, hopefully will be in place by next month. KeybladeSpyMaster 05:48, 16 August 2017 (UTC)

What to do with Mirage Arena
