Card:01 Castle Oblivion, also called Card 01: Castle Oblivion, is the first chapter in the Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories manga. The chapter starts with a crudely drawn summary of the events of Kingdom Hearts.
The front page shows Sora, Donald, and Goofy, with several cards depicting worlds in the background.
Story[edit]
Sora has trouble sleeping, and Jiminy shows him his notes. Sora looks back on his adventure, and all the friends he has made. Jiminy assures him he'll go back to his own world eventually. Sora falls asleep, but is awoken by a cloaked figure, who claims Sora will find something he seeks ahead, before disappearing.
Sora, Donald, and Goofy make their way to a giant castle. When they enter, they find themselves in a large, empty hall. The cloaked figure appears and claims they have started to lose their memory when they stepped inside. Donald tries to attack him, but he has forgotten how to cast magic. The cloaked figure explains the castle is called Castle Oblivion, and that they will meet people they miss. The cloaked figure dashes through Sora, sampling his memories into a card. He tells him to use the card to open the door and proceed through the castle. Jiminy tries to warn Sora that it is too dangerous, but Sora, Donald, Goofy, and Jiminy all felt they will find something in the castle the moment they stepped inside. Sora uses the card to open the door, and finds himself in Traverse Town.
