TALK - It's nice to have darkness on my side.{{{time}}} Why have you undone what I did on the dark mode page we don't know if he lost it so it is speculation to say it, besides if he lost the DM we don't know how so it is also speculation to say that it was because of the dark influences over him and finally it wasn't the closest to being free of Ansem he had ever been.

Since Dark Mode is utilized through Ansem's power, it was lost at that point. More proof is the fact that Riku no longer belonged in the dark realm. Making it obvious is the fact that he can't use his dark powers after the explosion. Ansem survived very weakly in the corners of Riku's heart after CoM, and Riku never took on any other form besides the blindfold (to keep Ansem at bay) after his defeat, his natural one between CoM, when Ansem was destroyed, and Days, when he let out his inner darkness and became Ansem. Considering Dark Mode was never used again, and Ansem (Riku's only way to use it) was destroyed, it can safely be assumed that it was lost after the events of CoM.

TALK - It's nice to have darkness on my side.{{{time}}} How do know that DM is is only utilized through Ansem's power, for what I know this wasn't confirmed, and yes Riku lost some of his dark powers(I think that just the ability to open the dark corridor) but so did DIZ(since he is still in the realm of darkness) which can means that it wasn't because of Ansem's "dead", nad i don't think that Ansem died I think that Ansem is still alive in Riku's heart but too weak to riku to notice it but this last one is just what I think

Riku gained Dark Mode in KH1 as the darkness began to control his heart, and Ansem's possession made it a "permanent form" until after his defeat at Sora's hand. It was Ansem tampering with Riku's darkness that let him use Dark Mode again in CoM

Both are assumptions, and while it may be reasonable to say that Riku probably no longer has access to Dark Mode for the reasons above, it's never explicitly pointed out that the ability is lost. It's more accurate just to say Riku never uses it again. --Neumannz 23:28, April 28, 2010 (UTC)

As discussed here, the see also section is not redundant to the navboxes, as it is specifically for pointing to other subjects which are of the same "species". The see also is kind of exempt from that rule, as it's more meant for the text itself, but if the article already substantially covers a related topic, it doesn't need to be in the see also. For example, Sora and Kairi are intricately linked, but his article already covers that, so she doesn't need to be in the see also. Also, for Keyblades, if the Keyblade's world, token, and giver are already mentioned in the article, they don't need to be in the see also.Glorious CHAOS! 21:56, April 29, 2010 (UTC)

Why take away the etymology on the mithril page?

First, please sign your posts. Second, I'm not 100% sure on the accuracy of what you had placed. You had messed up the article formatting, as another thing. Let this be verified by another, more experienced editor. I can guarantee it is true, you may go look it up and make the change yourself if you would like. I may be new to the wiki-- but I am not new to the fantasy genre, especially Tolkien and his philosophy. He was the one that coined the term 'Mythril" - Oh, how the sea calls

Simply state you have the Etymology of "Mythril", and want to double-check it. He can then add it with the proper formatting. Violin Overdose?

I was wondering about what you said in your dislikes of BBS section, "Yoko Shimomura abused the violin." It's not like it's a bad thing to hear something other than the piano in games. I think violins work pretty well for epic and brilliant games, they even go well with the piano. Well, almost every song on the track has the violin in it. At least for the boss themes. Indeed it still makes the song more epic, as the violin can portray sadness (Aqua's Theme) or anger (Terra's Theme/Fragments of Sorrow from the Xehanort battle), but I think she could have been a bit more creative. Article consistency

If you have a complaint about the parts of an article that are there due to consistency, please bring it up in a forum so that everyone knows it needs to be changed across the wiki. There's nothing grammatically wrong with "one of the bosses at x", and if it's not a correction, then it's stylistic - i.e., something that should be made public.

I understand that you don't like the style, and I'm not always happy with it either. But it is incredibly difficult to keep the articles consistent if we change styles all over the place.Glorious CHAOS! 23:01, May 9, 2010 (UTC)

Bublapedia is part of RPGWiki, a host like Wikia that hosts wikis for large role-playing game franchises, such as Pokémon. You have to contact their staff to be hosted on RPGWiki. However, since you seem to mostly desire modification of the visual style of the wiki, I suggest that you create a Wikia wiki, then change the master skin to "MonoBook", the Wikipedia skin. Test it out in your Preferences, and the wiki should look very much like Wikipedia. Also, if you do decide to take a wiki-break, I hope that you find everything that you seek in it. I know that in the wiki-break I took most recently, simply being away from the wiki helped me clear my thoughts are refocus on my priorities. I think I came back a better user, and with more YGOTAS references. I hope that, if you do make the decision to take a wiki-break, the effects of it are as great as mine were.

And thank you for helping. The reason I ask though, is because I wished to make a Wiki about a series that was all ready on an existing Wikia-Wiki. None exist for a Bulbapedia-style Wiki on the subject, so that's why I can't take your suggestion and just change a Wikia Wiki to the MonoBook settings, as it would still be a Wikia Wiki, not the RPG Wiki. If you check, there's a Pokémon Wikia Wiki and then there's Bulbapedia on the RPGWiki. That's the sort of difference I want between the Wikia-Wiki and the Wiki I want to create. So I suppose my only option is to contact the RPGWiki staff. Thank you, though. Any other ideas? When I asked yesterday on the IRC, MediaWiki was suggested to me... I couldn't get the downloads and stuff to work, though...

Technically, it's the arms AND waste, as his arms are pressed against his waist. But simply phrasing it as "by the arms" makes it seem like the Guardian grabbed him by the arms only, hence Roxas hanging limp like a rag doll at the Guardian's side while his arms were squeezed causing Roxas to faint. - EternalNothingnessXIII 21:31, May 15, 2010 (UTC)
