Damage Control
Damage Control (クライシスハーフ Kuraishisu Hāfu , lit. "Crisis Half") is an ability that appears in Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, and Kingdom Hearts III. It causes the user to take half the usual damage while their HP is at critical levels.
Mechanics[edit]
In Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, Damage Control is a support ability that costs 5 AP to equip. Damage Control halves all damage taken when at or below 25% HP, 50% HP with two abilities equipped. It also halves the power of the Cure spell.
In Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, Damage Control is an equipment ability.
In Kingdom Hearts III, Damage Control is a support ability that costs 4 AP to equip. It reduces the damage taken when at or below 25% HP by 50% with one ability equipped, 66% with two abilities, and 75% with three abilities.
Learning Damage Control[edit]
Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix[edit]
- Sora learns Damage Control at level 41 with the Dream Shield, 53 with the Dream Rod, or 99 with the Dream Sword.
- Goofy learns Damage Control after defeating Zexion's Absent Silhouette.
- The Kingdom Key has Damage Control as its Equipment Ability.
- The Centurion+ has Damage Control as its Equipment Ability.
- The Save the King+ has Damage Control as its Equipment Ability.
Kingdom Hearts III[edit]
- Sora has one copy of Damage Control by default. He learns a second copy at level 50 with Power of the Warrior, level 32 with Power of the Mystic, and level 2 with Power of the Guardian.
- Goofy learns Damage Control after defeating the heartless on the San Fransokyo rooftop.
- Hercules has Damage Control as a default ability.
- Sulley has Damage Control as a default ability.
- Marshmallow has Damage Control as a default ability.
- Riku has Damage Control as a default ability.
- Aqua has Damage Control as a default ability.
- Mickey Mouse has Damage Control as a default ability.

In Final Fantasy Brave Exvius, Damage Control is a passive ability learned by Kairi (KHIII). It increases HP, DEF, and SPR by 30%, and reduces magic damage taken for 3 turns when HP drops below 31%.
