Kingdom Hearts Balloon Glider (キングダムハーツバルーングライダー Kingudamu Hātsu Barūn Guraidā?), also written as KH Balloon Glider, is a mini-game application available through Kingdom Hearts Mobile. It is a modified recreation of the Balloon Glider mini-game from Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories.

Kingdom Hearts Balloon Glider was released on December 15, 2008, one of three mini-games available at the launch of the mobile service. It was discontinued on April 30, 2013 along with the rest of Kingdom Hearts Mobile.

Mechanics[edit]

The player controls Sora and Winnie the Pooh as they float up the Hunny Tree with balloons. The objective of the game is to reach the top of the tree within the time limit while gathering as many honey prizes as possible. There are eight main stages and one special Challenge stage, each with a different layout of prizes and obstacles.

Sora begins each stage with two balloons. Colliding with a honey bee or Tigger will pop one of Sora's balloons. Sora can obtain an extra balloon by reaching Piglet or a free-floating balloon, up to a maximum of three balloons. The stage is failed if all of Sora's balloons pop or if the timer runs out.

Each stage has a Score Target, a minimum number of honey prizes that must be collected to complete the stage. Normal honey prizes increment the score by 1, and large honey droplets carried by Owl increment the score by 5. At the end of each stage, the player is given a total score based on the number of prizes collected and the remaining time. The total score is calculated by the following formula: Total Score = Score × 10 + Rest Time × 10

Stage Score Target Time
Stage 1 25 60s
Stage 2 80 60s
Stage 3 85 60s
Stage 4 60 50s
Stage 5 60 55s
Stage 6 100 65s
Stage 7 65 50s
Stage 8 80 50s
Challenge 180 180s
