Story
Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep
When the "Hunny Hunt" bonus is triggered on the Hunny Pot Board, several pots of honey fall onto the board. If a player lands on a space with a pot surrounded by bees, the bees will sting them and take away points.
Kingdom Hearts
Several swarms of bees inhabit Hunny Tree in 100 Acre Wood. During Pooh's Hunny Hunt, several swarms of bees try to pop Pooh's balloon to prevent him from getting their honey.
Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories
Several swarms of bees inhabit the Hunny Tree and Muddy Road in 100 Acre Wood. During Balloon Glider, several swarms of bees try to pop Pooh's balloon to prevent him from getting their honey. During Bumble-Rumble, the swarms try to attack Pooh for stealing their honey, but Sora fends them off. The Enemy Card that they use during this battle cannot be obtained by Sora.
Kingdom Hearts II
A swarm of bees infests an alley of the Tram Common in Twilight Town, frustrating a middle-aged woman who puts up a job request to have them exterminated. During Bumble Buster, Roxas and Sora attempt to fend off the bees as quickly as possible.
Several swarms of bees inhabit the Spooky Cave in 100 Acre Wood. During the Expotition, they will attack Tigger, Piglet, Roo, and Eeyore if they get too close while searching for Pooh.
Origin
The Honey Bees first appeared in the 1966 animated featurette Winnie the Pooh and the Honey Tree. When Pooh tries to climb a tree with a balloon to get the treasure trove of honey in a nest, he is attacked by the bees. He falls into a mud pit, where he covers himself with some mud on to disguise himself as a rain cloud, but is once again attacked by the bees and Christopher Robin comes to his rescue.
