Starting in January of 2007, a Final Mix version of the Kingdom Hearts manga was released in Japan. The series ran for a total of four months, eventually concluding in April 2007. In 2013, the Final Mix editions were reissued by Yen Press, compiling the original three volume set into two. The Yen Press versions also include the scenes exclusive to the Kingdom Hearts Final Mix version.

Each volume cover features a scene from a world Sora will mainly explore in the specific volume.
