Ignited enemies take damage over time from their burns.

Ignite (スナイプバーニング, Sunaipu Bāningu, lit. "Snipe Burning") is a technique that appears in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep. It allows the user to ignite the enemy he has locked on and cause it to take continual damage.

Mechanics

In Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, Ignite is an Advanced magic command that takes up one slot in the Command Deck, has a maximum level of 4 and a normal reload time of 10 seconds, and fills the Command Gauge by 8%.

• Terra, Ventus, and Aqua can purchase Ignite from the Command Shop for 600 munny once four worlds are cleared or the command has already been obtained elsewhere.
• Terra, Ventus, and Aqua can purchase Ignite from a panel at the Deep Space Command Board.
• Aqua can obtain Ignite through her Crown Stickers for 20 points.
• The Maleficent D-Link has Ignite in its 2nd emblems Command Deck.
