One of the most beloved games in the Kingdom Hearts series has launched worldwide in glorious high-definition. Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX launched in Japan on October 2, with a North American release of December 2, Australian release of December 4, and European release of December 5. The latest HD remaster bundles the beloved sequel Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix with Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Final Mix and Kingdom Hearts Re:coded and prepares fans and new gamers alike for the long-awaited Kingdom Hearts III. Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX will be the first time that Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix and Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Final Mix will be released internationally. With these new titles come official English translations of various attacks and enemies, as well as brand new challenges, Keyblades, and battles. Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix features new fights against the Absent Silhouettes, as well as data fights against the entire Organization XIII. New puzzle challenges also are included in the new remaster, and new cutscenes that delve into the inner workings of the Organization have been added to the game, as well as the challenging Lingering Will battle. Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Final Mix features a special Secret Episode that teases at a potential new title, Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Volume 2. In addition, new Unversed Challenges and additional battles are added to the Mirage Arena, including battles against No Heart (Xehanort's Armor) and the Armor of Eraqus. The Mirage Arena has been tweaked to be both more challenging and more fun when playing solo, though multiplayer capabilities were removed due to time constraints. The final title, Kingdom Hearts Re:coded, has been remastered into three hours of high-definition cutscenes. Two hours of those are completely new footage, with a two new bonus cutscenes that tie into the events of Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance. One is tied to the online game Kingdom Hearts X and features villains Maleficent and Pete. The other, which acts as an additional secret ending, features Braig and a Young Xehanort discussing the plot will unfold in the future of the Kingdom Hearts series. Following the game's launch in North America, our friends at Kingdom Hearts Insider and KH13 were able to interview the man himself, creator of the Kingdom Hearts series, Tetsuya Nomura. In the interview, Tetsuya revealed that a high-definition remake of Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance is still being considered, but stated this reality might be a little hard as the KH team don't think 3D will be as well received on its own. In addition, he noted that the mysterious Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Volume 2 is simply a collection of ideas that are not currently being pursued. It was also shared that Tetsuya is fascinated by the Zexion data battle, though he wouldn't necessarily call it his favorite. Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX has been well received on all fronts. Both the European and North American Launch events were sold out, as were the international Collector's Edition versions of the game. These editions were back with both Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX and Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX, an art book, a Shadow plushie, a steelbook for the game discs, and a special collector's box to keep everything together. Have you gotten your copy of the game? What do you think about the latest HD installment? Tell us your answers on the magazine's comments page!
As most everyone knows, one of The Walt Disney Company's most valuable moves in the last couple of years has been the acquisition of Marvel and Lucasfilm. Included in this package were the rights to beloved franchises such as Captain America, Thor, Indiana Jones, and Star Wars. It's no secret that these franchises are huge all on their own, but what would they be like when combined with the momentous story of the Kingdom Hearts series, specifically Kingdom Hearts III? Gaming website Kotaku recently spoke to Kingdom Hearts Co-Director Tai Yasue in London where they questioned him about the addition of Star Wars and Marvel properties in Kingdom Hearts III and beyond. Yasue is quoted saying:
This response hints that the development team might be considering what potential these works could have in the future of the Kingdom Hearts series. Tai Yasue also said:
With this answer we get a bit of a look at the tough work the Square Enix team has in choosing a couple of worlds from such a vast array of works and franchises. We also cannot forget other Disney works, such as its many animated classics, the animated films of recent years, and the computer-graphic works of its subsidiary, Pixar. For those who do not recall, incomplete models of Buzz Lightyear and Woody were found in Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, the first game that came out following Disney's acquisition of Pixar Animation Studios in 2006. A Pixar film has yet to appear in a Kingdom Hearts game. All these different, unique, and separate works are up in the air for the upcoming Kingdom Hearts III! What do you think? Is there a chance that Kingdom Hearts III will feature any of these works? Would you like to see them? Tell us your thoughts on the comments page!
Recently, Square Enix held "Inside the Kingdom, with Heart", a launch event for Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX at Walt Disney Animation Studios in Burbank, California. Part of the exclusive treat was a special, exclusive look at Kingdom Hearts III. The footage, which will not be released publicly, features a ton of new scenes. Though we are not yet lucky enough to see this footage, we can ascertain a general idea of what was shown thanks to helpful fan accounts. Sora is seen in Valor Form and Wisdom Form, but no new outfit is shown, despite previous confirmation that there would be a change of attire. Sora's Keyblade was also shown transforming into dual guns and, later, a cannon. Several sketches for Heartless were seen, but only one, which was knight-like in appearance, was said to have been completed for the game. A new world, labeled only as "CT", was also teased. Apparently, this world is similar to Land of Departure in appearance, due to the inclusion of chains and elegant aesthetics. Sora was later seen facing a large window with curtains in what appeared to be a library or a study. Chess-like pieces lined the window sill, some of them with a crown or heart top. The letter χ was seen written on a chalkboard. Our friends at Kingdom Hearts Insider have made a sketch of what they saw, as the footage is most likely not going to be made public. The footage ends with a note to look out for more information on Kingdom Hearts III in 2015.
Disney Infinity is a video game series very much like Kingdom Hearts. Developed by Disney Interactive, Infinity features characters from the many Disney franchises interacting with each other as the player completes missions and edits their "Toy Box" to create worlds full of endless possibilities. Playing requires physical figurines of your chosen character that one places on a gamepad. These figures become the characters in game, recording experience and giving access to new abilities. They're pretty essential to the game. The inclusion of different franchises interacting with each other is not unfamiliar to fans of Kingdom Hearts. It's not hard to connect these two games and wonder what if Kingdom Hearts was in Disney Infinity? What if you could play as Sora, Kairi, or Aqua in another Disney title? What if you could open the Door to Darkness and let in the Heartless into your Toy Box? What about Final Fantasy characters? For those curious, a representative from Disney Infinity commented on the Infinity forums in regards to these very questions.
While it's nowhere near confirmed, it's promising that demand for Kingdom Hearts content is there. Hopefully the developers will consider adding it in – wouldn't it be exciting to have Kingdom Hearts represented in Disney Infinity? With universal characters like Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck, who can already travel through the different film realms in the game, characters like Sora wouldn't be hard to develop. Would you play Disney Infinity for Kingdom Hearts? Would you purchase an adorable Sora figurine so you can play as him in the game? Let us know what you think on the comments page! |

by TheFifteenthMember The World Ends with You baffled fans the moment its feature in Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance was announced. Is he trying to ruin KH?!" These were thoughts that ran through many minds during the years of 2011 and 2012. Yet, everyone also expected failure when, long ago, talk began to spread of a strange, upcoming game mixing Disney and Final Fantasy. Somehow, despite the madness, Kingdom Hearts was created and became a hit. Square Enix managed this same turn around when KH3D was released. TWEWY blended with Sora's gang perfectly. TWEWY and KH share a common theme of friendship and the TWEWY crew are the same age as the KH protagonists, so it's actually not surprising that the mashup turned out well. In fact, some may think that TWEWY's characters merge with KH even better than Final Fantasy's. The smaller age gap means believable friendships, as opposed to Sora becoming such close friends with people twice his age, like Cid. Wasn't that just a little off? Another comparison can be made with world choice. TWEWY was self-contained within the world of Traverse Town, which was formerly the hub for FF characters. But what if things had been different? In this article, I'm going to speculate over how the TWEWY world of Shibuya would fit into a future KH game. First of all, I'll talk about the general atmosphere of Shibuya. Many people worry about the modern day being introduced to KH since the franchise tends to avoid busy, populated areas (yes, I am thinking about the podcast). However, La Cité des Cloches was set in Paris, which would have been a bustling, lively city in the 19th Century. The famous Notre Dame was entirely deserted of any NPCs but, as players, we never noticed because we were too busy fending off against the Dream Eaters. With Shibuya, central areas such as the Scramble Crossing and 104 can be littered with NPCs and shops (but not too littered), as it is in Twilight Town, while others areas will be Heartless zones (imagine battling in alleyways, streets, graffiti hotspots, and tunnels). Even three or four random NPCs loitering around the Scramble will be enough to make the world feel like a lived-in settlement. Buildings will feature electronic billboards and fluorescent lights, not unlike those in the Dark City. To sum up, the fact that Shibuya is a modern city is not a problem at all. On the contrary, I think a city environment will do much to liven up and add variety. TWEWY's concept of Noise is also perfectly compatible with the KH universe — these monsters are like Heartless with a different name. The Reapers control them, sending the Noise to do their dirty work in the same way Maleficent and the other Disney villains beckon the Heartless. The themes are already there and there are so many ways in which the TWEWY cast and setting could be used to create interesting scenes and dialogue. Plus, the Noise from TWEWY can be used as base designs for the Heartless of that world. Lastly, you may be wondering what the basic plot of the Shibuya world would be. Well, KH3D is set after the events of TWEWY, so, as we know it, Joshua has led the others back to Shibuya to live in the RG. Hence, the Reaper's Game cannot be played in Kingdom Hearts III. If Shibuya were to happen, I'd imagine that the directors would have some sub-plot to act as a hype-builder to the plot of TWEWY 2 (if that's ever going to happen) or it'd be like Traverse Town, Twilight Town, or Hollow Bastion, where the world plots take a backseat so that the main storyline can unravel. Then, the TWEWY cast will be there to hang around, but the story of KH3 is actually the focus (whatever Nomura has planned for that). And that's the end of my skit. Highly unpolished, yes it is. But even still, I'd love to hear your thoughts, so be sure to leave a comment on the comments page!
by KeybladeSpyMaster Sora, Donald, and Goofy arrive in Game Central Station, where they meet the Surge Protector. He mentions to the crew that Wreck-It Ralph has just flown into Sugar Rush in some sort of space ship, and notes how troublesome Ralph often is. Before the Surge Protector can stop them, the trio heads to Sugar Rush. There, they follow a trail of broken candy to find Ralph and Vanellope von Schweetz arguing. Thinking Ralph is an enemy in league with the Heartless (based on the comments from the Surge Protector), the trio take him on, though it doesn’t take long for them to figure out Ralph's not a real bad guy, but a video game bad guy. Their fight, however, gives Vanellope time to snatch Ralph's medal, after which she runs to the race track. Sora, Donald, and Goofy, now joined by Ralph, follow Vanellope to the race track. There, Sora, joined by Donald and Goofy, attempt to chase her down. Their efforts are interrupted by Ralph, who runs into them covered in frosting. After this, the group is taken to King Candy, who tells them to get out of Sugar Rush. Ralph, however, finds a racecar lying around, and hijacks it, taking Sora and the group with him, and initiating a mini race. The group outrace King Candy and find Vanellope, where they agree to help her win the race to recover the medal. After racing against Vanellope multiple times, they run into King Candy, who explains to the four the "truth" about Vanellope, and why she can't race. Before Sora, Donald, and Goofy can stop him, Ralph destroys Vanellope's car and runs away. The trio try to chase him down, but instead run into Fix-It Felix, Jr., who joins them, telling them that he's been looking for Ralph to take him back to his game before the arcade opens for the day. The group go up to King Candy's castle to explain their dilemma, but Sour Bill locks them up in the dungeon before they're able to say anything. There, they attempt to break out, but their attempts are foiled everytime by Felix's hammer. Suddenly, they're rescued by Ralph, who appears to ask Felix to fix Vanellope's car. The group makes their way to the race track, where they see Vanellope race off. Just then, Sergeant Calhoun shows up and attacks Ralph, reprimanding him for letting a Cy-bug into the game. Immediately, Cy-bugs appear and begin to attack, and Sora, Donald, Goofy, and Ralph take to destroying the virus. Between the two parts of this battle, they witness the fact that King Candy is truly Turbo. When the Cy-bugs destroy the finish line, Sora, Donald, and Goofy try and clear the way for everyone to escape. When they fail to get Vanellope out of the game, Sora, Donald, and Goofy follow Ralph to Diet Cola Mountain, where they face off King Candy as the final boss. They're thrown off the mountain when Candy takes Ralph up to the sky, though they're able to see Vanellope make her way to the mountain, so they follow her, clearing the way of Cy-bugs before the creatures are eliminated by the beacon. After their victory, the trio watch as everyone heads off to their own game, and Sora, Donald, and Goofy make their way to Game Central Station, where they reflect on Ralph's true role, despite what the game code says. Sora recalls how Tron was able to do the same in The Grid, and decides that despite some rules, people can always be who they truly are. After the game is completed (whatever game this world is included in, let's say Kingdom Hearts III for kicks), an additional story is unlocked in a game titled only as Green Hill. The world features Green Hill from Sonic the Hedgehog, and Dr. Eggman is featured as an optional boss. The secret boss is homage to Sonic's appearance in the film, and Ralph's appearance in Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed. When Ralph and the trio break out of Candy's Castle, it unlocks the Sugar Rush mini-game, which is a racing mini-game against other characters from the film, including select Sugar Rush Racers. Following the completion of the story, the Fix-It Felix, Jr. and Hero's Duty mini-games are unlocked, and are played in a similar fashion to their appearance in film. |
by TheFifteenthMember So how do we make a redirect ourselves? First, begin by creating a fresh new page with the title of your redirect. If you need help with that, check out the extensive tutorial RoadtoDawn wrote for Issue #2 of the Twilight Times! Once that's handled, insert the following code onto the page you are creating: #REDIRECT [[Article Name]] The "Article Name" portion of this code should be substituted with the title of the article you want to redirect to. You may notice that the coding has two parts. "#REDIRECT", is essentially the signal to treat the page as a redirect. The "[[Article Name]]" link says what article the page should be redirecting to. If you've read my tutorial on links in Issue #1 of the Twilight Times, you'll know know how to link to a section of an article. You can apply that knowledge here to create a redirect that jumps to a particular section of an article! Also keep in mind that it is unnecessary to disguise a redirect link! And that's the end! Hmm, I wonder if anyone sees what I did in the title...
by RoadToDawn Today we're trying out the Test Pilot, Top Pilot and Ace Pilot trophies! Let's try the easiest of the worlds, Traverse Town, since it also has the easiest Gummi missions. Objective: Get 80 Points! Ok, I'm going to go easy on this one. I got this trophy on my first flight out of Traverse Town. If you really need the help, the secret is in destroying as many enemies and items you can. This can easily be done with a default Gummi ship and I believe that any route involving Traverse Town works. Moving on... Objective: Go from Olympus Coliseum to Traverse Town and get more than 30 barriers! In case you don't know, barriers are the purple squares you see in your gummi travels. Destroy them and you get items. To destroy the most you can in such a short amount of time, you will need a very buff up ship. Lasers, blasters, magnets; whatever you think of, you should have. Creating a monster will certainly get the purple things destroyed! Though not obligatory, you can use magnets to pull even more barriers. Remember to press R3 to pull. Objective: Start from Hollow Bastion, get no points and no damage! For this one, what you need is a small ship, kinda like this: Did I say a small ship? I meant TWO. Configure both clone ships to transform between one another. Why? Even though you have the smallest ship possible, some obstacles are almost impossible to avoid, so you'll need a dose of invincibility, which you can get by transforming. Use the O button to go slower so you can dodge obstacles better, and for the hard ones you will HAVE to transform. So follow this guide and you're bound to get all three trophies! As for the other trophy I mentioned, Top Gun, for that one you'll have to do ALL of the missions, something this article isn't big enough to explain. Thanks for reading and happy flying! |

This is a collection of mini-reviews from some guys and gals from the IRC. Special thanks to Xion4ever who came up with the idea of a collaborative review. Dusks. No, not Duskull or the time in the evening. Dusks! Those grey jumpsuit-wearing, contortionist Nobodies that always attack in groups. Sure they were rather annoying and quite easy to defeat... Even so! Dusks are not completely useless. In the least, we were constantly reminded of Dusks by higher-ranking Nobodies. Do the threats of being turned into a Dusk sound familiar? #Xion
The Sniper is a great Nobody because of its ability to lay heavy damage and warp time to disappear before the player can counterattack. The Sniper is also very fast because of its warping abilities. In addition, the use of crossbows makes its attacks both more effective and cool. It's swift, sleek, and powerful, making the Sniper one powerful Nobody. Dragoons are quite fancy Nobodies because who doesn't like a dragon as an opponent? Their design keeps all aspects of dragons, despite their actions not being dragon-like. Even their lances have that nice draconic look that everyone looks for in something that relates to a dragon. I'd say that the wings are the only thing that really lack on the dragon side of things. They're a bit too simple, even for the Nobody theme they should follow.
Samurai are Nobodies that rip past (pun intended) all other Nobodies on the coolness meter. They're sleek and slick and their attire spells samurai from belt to helmet. They also dual-wield, which is an automatic win in any walk of life. Then, you have the the reaction command, Dual Stance, which has to be one of the most satisfying attacks to perform (and most frustrating to fail). To round thing out, the Samurai are the signature of Roxas so you can go ring up the fans. Zexion - Rank VI of the O13 (rhymes lmao). This Nobody is the master of illusions with the weapon of the Lexicon at his side. Mainly in Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, Zexion continues to push Riku onto the Organization's side, convincing him that Sora will never respect him. This nobody uses his persuasion powers throughout the game, and becomes a powerful boss to Riku after tricking him into thinking he is Sora. I like this Nobody because he seems like a shy person, like his human counterpart, Ienzo, but once you anger him, he becomes a demeaning figure for the characters. His illusions have Riku wondering what reality actually is — it takes a lot of time and skill to weave such identical lies. He used a rather "different" technique to try to eradicate Riku: imitating a Sora constructed from the depths of Riku's guilt to try to defeat him. He also continued to face Riku even though he was wounded from the start. Zexion is a very perseverant and persuasive character, and I'm sad to see him go. I hope I can find about him more in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep and the upcoming Kingdom Hearts III, if Ienzo gets to star in either title. Long live the illusionist!
Note from the user: As much as I was eager to do this, choosing five separate quotes to describe as "the most memorable" has been somewhat...difficult for me. There are so many that I enjoy and relate to in more ways than one. This sequence is entirely subjective and merely reflects hard thought on my part. So please, enjoy! 5. - Axel to Sora
This particular version is taken from when Axel first encounters Sora, in Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories. This line is so memorable for exactly those reasons. It has been repeated so many times that it's impossible not to love it! 4. - Terra-Xehanort to Terra's Lingering Will
3.
This particular line is delivered in front of the Old Mansion in Twilight Town as Axel makes contact with Xion, having been searching for her for a lengthy time. As Xion desires to go back to Sora, she asks Axel to refrain from holding back, prompting Axel to deliver an emotion-filled speech, which he ends with this quote. It's clear that his need for friendship is so great that he is willing to go to lengths to keep his friends with him. This line definitely fits the bill of 'memorable' for me. 2. - Aqua to Terra-Xehanort
This quote is memorable for me because of the point at which it comes in the game. Everything that has happened thus far has led up to it, and now it is Aqua's turn to save her friend. 1.
The emotion from that scene, and the quote really do capture the heart, causing it to emanate sympathy for the now lonely boy. Memorable is perhaps an understatement.
Interview conducted by TheFifteenthMember Welcome to the magazine's interview for Issue #3! I, TheFifteenthMember, will be your host for today's interview with long-time editor ANX219 as my subject. We've gathered around an imaginary table to- *noise comes from ear* Eh, I'm not allowed to say that? Four guys in Firey Hats eating Key Lime Pie, you say? Alright then, just roll the film! TheFifteenthMember: Good evening (or morning?), nice to be speaking with you, ANX! You've been an editor at the KHWiki for...how many years?
FM: Aww, everyone started out like that... I think. I KNOW I WAS A BRAT WHEN I JOINED ANYWAY! So, why did you decide to join the Wiki in the first place?
FM: Of course! Good thing you joined the wiki too! What do you find most enjoyable about the wiki?
FM: DON'T BE FORGETTING 'OL ENGLAND! Yup, our community is **clearly** the best bunch of KH fans out there *nods to magazine*!
FM: SPEAKING OF WHICH, it's no secret that you play League of Legends (not just because you taught me!). Favourite position/champion?
FM: SHOTS FIRED! *dies* Returning to the topic of KH, what expectations do you have for Kingdom Hearts III?
FM: The day SoKairi becomes canon is the day Nomura finally loses his will to the fans. Now as you said before, we have editors from all over the world. How do you find America?
FM: And here, some people think that America adores the UK and everything else British xD
FM: See, our community is so cool that we even talk politics!
FM: Okay, how about some questions about you. I hear that you enjoy studying languages? Which languages do you know?
FM: Yeah, language is the best subject, no matter what the guy from my maths class says *looks around warily*... Okay, favourite animal?
FM: Lastly, what is the one thing that annoys you most?
FM: *Sounds of hundreds of teenagers frantically rushing to burn their T-shirts* I BELIEVE THAT CONCLUDES OUR INTERVIEW!
FM: You can use the power of the IRC (and the force) to continue your campaign! Last words to the readers at home?
FM: But mainly her! ^_^
FM: Haha, thanks for your time, you've been amazing~ TheFifteenthMember is an editor that can be found at the KHWiki. He is always up for a friendly chat, especially if you come bearing cookies. ANX219 is an avid player of League of Legends, and can be found singing jingles or making puns on Skype™. She will not scream at you usually, but if you get a penta kill, she will write you "thank-you-for-the-carry" cards. Oh, she's also at the KHWiki too! Interviewer's note: I apologise for making you read that introduction. Interviewer's post-note: The podcast crew are awesome. Editors's note to the post-note: Darn right we are. Interviewer's post-post-note: I wonder if your eyes are good enough to read this. |

Well, I'll admit that perhaps I was a bit harsh during last issue's criticism of the decision to not put in capes in 2.5. I let my emotions get the best of me, and that was an unprofessional thing to do. As for your question, when I first saw the video of the cape popping out, I freaked like a little fangirl! I was so happy to see that Square got my message. But then I watched it again, and the more I thought about it, the way they did it... it could've been better. Since they had the time to put it in there and didn't have to make an all new render for Terra, perhaps they could have DONE THAT FOR THE ENTIRE GAME?!?! NOT GOOD ENOUGH SQUARE, NOT GOOD ENOUGH. HECK NO, I'M NOT SATISFIED. THE CAPE DIDN'T SERVE A PURPOSE, IT WAS JUST THERE. GOSH DANG IT! *Slams the door as he exits the room, causing his cape to whoosh behind him.*
I think our chances of an HD remake are very likely. I can see it as one of the final games/"things" Nomura does before the release of Kingdom Hearts III. Truth be told, an HD remake of KH3D will probably be released just to postpone the release of KHIII even more. Haha. P.S from The Editor: Yes, two people can answer the same question. I mean... why not?

Results compiled by FinalRest In our last issue we asked you... What new content are you most looking forward to in Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX? Here's what you said! File:Poll Results- Issue 3.png It looks like we've got a lot of fighters, as New Bosses (such as Roxas, Lingering Will, Monstro, and Armored Masters) were the most anticipated of the new 2.5 content, with 23 supporters and a whopping 48% of the total votes. In second was a tie, with New Episodes (Cavern of Remembrance and Realm of Darkness) and New Voice Cutscenes both earning 7 votes and a cool 15% each. A close third goes to the fantastic HD graphics, which 6 people (12%) were looking forward to. Fourth was another tie, both New Items and "I'm not looking forward to it at all" taking 2 votes each, leaving them for 4%. In last place was New Challenges (the likes of Mushroom XIII and Unversed Battles), which only got one vote and 2%. I guess we can't blame you guys; those Mushrooms sure are a pain! Welcome to 2014's End of Year Event results page, brought to you via a special one issue only page!
For the unaware, the KHWiki launched an End of Year Event back in 2012, which was a lot of fun and offered a lot of enjoyment. For 2014 we wished to recreate something similarly exciting but we also wanted something fresh. This time, the KHWiki cooperated with the Keyhole and two new ideas were selected for 2014's event. The event happened over December and, in this article, I will announce the results and winners of the two contests!
Team Éclair win with 83%! Team χ end at 50%! In the user trivia contest, members of our community each submitted a single trivial fact about themselves. Then, they were put into two groups and were made to match up the other team's names to the correct fact. KeybladeSpyMaster, the man in charge of handling the responses, added in his own bonus fact for both teams. The team with the most accuracy in guessing the bonus fact had 13% added to their total score. The groups also chose team names, leading to the formation of "Team Éclair" and "Team χ". After a month of guessing and predicting, we can finally reveal the rightful owners of each fact!
First, let's take a look at Team Éclair's scores. Team Éclair are an Aixciting bunch of FResh minds. They RNergetic, ANXazing, CAFantastic, and full of Braviado! Read that sentence out aloud; I am going to get skewered for including that in :P Not to mention, I'm on that team! They scored 83% with four of their members guessing all questions correct! Planning and discussing together over the campfire definitely paid off. On the other hand, only five got the bonus question correct. Now, we go over to Team χ.
That means Team Éclair are the winners, so congratulations to all of Éclair's members! Everyone on the team shall be awarded a shiny winner plaque and, more importantly, we can all treat ourselves to that victory éclair! Ooooh :D Let's not forget Team χ, who participated with great effort and valour. They'll also be receiving plaques for their userpage! And that ends the user trivia contest! With fifteen users involved and a month of team conversation, (including some inter-team haggling...) I'd call it a success! Special thanks to ANX219 for coming up with the wonderful idea and applause for everyone who took part!
1st Place KeybladeSpyMaster 2nd Place RoxasNobody 3rd Place RoadtoDawn For the Design-a-World contest, competitors wrote up skits for a world idea that could be used in a future KH game. Once we had all the nominations, the public voted on their favourite world idea. Now, we shall announce the results of the votes! Altogether, there were ten votes. Two votes went to RoadToDawn's Up sketch, with comments that his was the "best presented". Then, we have three for RoxasNobody, with people mentioning that they "have some nostalgia for the TENG movie" or, as someone else put it, "The Emperor's New Groove. 'Nuff said". Lastly, with five votes, KeybladeSpyMaster takes the gold for his Wreck-it Ralph world. Some said it was the "most elaborate, detailed and fitting plot" and that "KSM's world contains some nice detail, and it's obvious that thought has gone into creating it". For your interest, the votes of the competitors themselves will be disclosed.
Am I the only one who spots the love triangle here? *is shot* All competitors will receive a special plaque for their userspace! Congratulations to all three of them for their hard work, props to maggosh for the idea, and thank you everyone who voted!
So... End of Year Event 2015, anyone? *is shot* |
