As we all know, during visits to certain worlds in KH some the characters changes form such as Sora turning into lion cub in Pride Lands, Donald a becomes a Snowman in Christmas Town, Goofy transforms into turtle in Atlantica and they all turn into data versions of themselves when they enter Space Paranoids. However, keeping tracks of all these different forms have caused some problems if you ask me. There are currently a bunch of pages dedicated to each of the forms for each of the characters. Not only does all these pages come off as unorganized but none of them as far as I'm concerned has official names from the games.

For the forms Sora, Donald and Goofy takes on in Halloween Town (A vampire, a mummy and frankenstein) it makes kind of sense to keep them in separate articles due to the fact that they become different things. However, for worlds such as Space Paranoids and Timeless River where all the characters takes on the Data forms and Retro forms it doesn't make much sense to still keep the characters in different pages. I can kind of understand it because having a page for each of the characters Halloween Town form and then having them all share one page for the Timeless River form would cause inconsistency. But then again this was ignored when The Grid was announced. Now Donald and Goofy have each their own data form pages while Sora and Riku shares one page for their data forms.

Some problems I have with the data pages for Donald and Goofy is that they are named "Data Donald" and "Data Goofy". With these names I have two problems. First being that most of Donald and Goofy's form pages are simply referred to as "Squid Form" and "Turtle Form" without giving any mention of their names. This is sort of inconsistent in my opinion.

My second problem with the "Data Donald" and "Data Goofy" pages are that they might confuse people. This is very unlikely but, we have the pages Data-Sora, Data-Riku and Data-Naminé which are character pages whereas Data Donald and Data Goofy are form pages. Just a minor problem. But, what does all this lead to? Well, I have a suggestion to how all the different world forms should be organized.

First off we have the title for the page with an appropriate name such as World Forms. Then we have some general information about forms; something along the lines of "During the games some of the characters will have their character design changed in certain world".

Then we have list for all the different world forms with new pages dedicated to each world. Instead of having many pages for each form we now have one form page dedicated to each world. For an example, instead of having the Vampire Form, Mummy Form and Frankenstein Form pages for Sora, Donald and Goofy's Halloween Town forms, we now have one page called Halloween Town Forms (which is a more official name than the ones we're currently using) which is a fusion of the three pages I just listed and we talk about the changes for Sora, Donald, Goofy, Riku and Mickey when they visit that world.

480MS.png I agree with all of what you said, but the names of the articles are not good. Maybe more like this:

Just a suggestion.

We could do that or perhaps:

Since that is more similar to how we name Gameplay, Gallery, Quotes and Card pages. - JTD95 13:01, 25 April 2012 (UTC)

Then I think it should be World/Game since it's also a gameplay element ....

I am highly certain that we had already decided to just merge the forms back into their character article unless they had functional differences, like Lion Form (which has an official name). The Halloween Town stuff has as much gameplay (and story) significance as the change in Sora's clothes from KHI to KHII, and there's no reason to treat it any differently.

By looking at the pages to Sora, Doanld, Goofy, Riku, Mickey and Pete, it seems like their world forms have already been merged into their pages. Why does all these other form pages still exist then?

I still think we should have a page listing all the world forms. It would be easier to see which worlds you change forms in and which characters who does, instead of having to go to every character page to see if they change or not in certain worlds. - JTD95 06:41, 26 April 2012 (UTC)

However, there are no official names for these forms, and there's not much to say except "The character looks different." The redundant pages should be deleted, and the remaining ones should use the official names given by the games and guides."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 08:05, 26 April 2012 (UTC)
If we delete the pages, can we at least still keep the userboxes for the forms, but instead link them to the world? UxieLover1994 08:11, 26 April 2012 (UTC)
Why would this be necessary? The game and plot treat them as no different than Sora's early-game change of clothes or Jack's change into a Santa outfit. If we must retain a navbox, the links should go to the character articles, but even then, I'm not seeing a good reason for keeping links to each of those forms. They simply aren't anything more than cosmetic flourishes that we are arbitrarily singling out amongst a litany of equal alternatives."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." Er...? I'll take it as a "No". UxieLover1994 08:49, 26 April 2012 (UTC)
It was more just a question, actually."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 00:55, 27 April 2012 (UTC)
