Game clothes[edit]

Classic outfit[edit]

Goofy (Classic) KH.png

In the end of Kingdom Hearts and the beginning of Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, Goofy wears his classic Disney outfit, consisting of an orange turtleneck with a yellow vest, dark blue pants, a light-green hat and brown shoes. In the beta version of Kingdom Hearts, this was Goofy's default uniform.[1]

Knight outfit[edit]

Goofy KHREC.png

As Captain of the Royal Knights of Disney Castle, Goofy wears armor over his body, though most of it is on his left side, leaving his right side mostly exposed except for a metal armlet on his upper arm. His left arm sports the same armlet, but includes several more pieces of armor, such as a pauldron over his left shoulder, a thick, cylindrical gauntlet covering most of the rest of his arm, and a metal glove overtop his normal white one. Goofy dons a sleeveless, orange shirt with a high, yellow collar with an oblong, blue piece of clothing over his right half, held on by a black strap attached by yellow, star-shaped buttons. He wears a thick, metal belt around his waist with two blue straps looping around the back of it. Goofy's pants are baggy and orange with a noticeable seam down the front of each leg. The bottom of the legs are black with gold lining. Goofy's shoes are made of metal and the toes curl upward. Goofy sports a metal hat, which resembles a knight's helmet, and sports a curved blade on the top.

Goofy wears this outfit during Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, in the beginning of Kingdom Hearts, and in Kingdom Hearts coded prior to entering Data Hollow Bastion.

Adventure outfit[edit]

Goofy wears this outfit throughout the majority of Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories, Kingdom Hearts II, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, Kingdom Hearts Re:coded, Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, Kingdom Hearts Union χ, Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep -A fragmentary passage-, Kingdom Hearts III, and Kingdom Hearts Melody of Memory.

World changes[edit]

Atlantica version[edit]

Goofy AT KHII.png

In Atlantica, Goofy's entire body, save for his head, is transformed into that of a large sea turtle. His skin is the same black color as his fur, but his limbs are transformed into flippers and he gains a long, thin tail. The underside of his shell is the same light tan color as his skin in his normal form, and the top side of his shell is sea green. Goofy is the only one out of himself, Sora, and Donald to wear any form of clothing while in Atlantica; his hat, though it is his original light green one rather than the orange one he normally wears in the Kingdom Hearts series.

Halloween Town version[edit]

Goofy HT KHII.png

In Halloween Town, Goofy's appearance resembles the stereotypical depiction of Frankenstein's monster. He wears a tan turtleneck sweater, a yellow, tattered, patched jacket, green pants that are equally tattered and patched, with a black left leg, black suspenders, and brown shoes with holes ripped open for his toes. All of his clothing is faded. Goofy retains his floppy ears, but they are thinner and mangier-looking than normal. He has an enormous, silver screw in the top of his head, resembling his trademark hat, and his fingernails are pointed. His fur is black and is spiked wildly on his head around the screw. Goofy's nose becomes a metal cap and is tipped with a small jack o' lantern, similar to Zero. Another characteristic he shares with Zero is a pointy bottom lip. His eyes are heterochromatic, similar to The Mayor's; the left one is red and the right one is a grey spiral. Goofy's weapons gain a darker, ashen appearance in this form.

In Christmas Town, Goofy takes on the traits of a reindeer. His clothing changes into a reddish-brown suit similar to the one worn by Santa Claus, with white fur lining around the sleeves. He wears a loose, red belt with a gold buckle around his waist and red mittens with green ribbons tied on them. His feet become light tan and have brown hooves, and a green wreath hangs from his neck. Goofy's nose glows orange, reminiscent of the popular Christmas story of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. Two black, elegantly curled antlers sprout from the top of his head.

Timeless River version[edit]

Goofy TR KHII.png

In Timeless River, Goofy transforms into a monochrome version of his original appearance in the original Disney cartoons. Goofy's physical structure changes very little In this form, though he has a noticeable Adam's Apple and a short tail. He retains his white gloves, shoes, and hat, though his shoes are much simpler in design and his hat is a black and white version of the one he normally wears in Disney media, as opposed to his usual Kingdom Hearts one. The only other article of clothing Goofy wears in this form is a single-button vest.

This form is largely based on Goofy's original appearance; at that time he was known as "Dippy Dawg", in the 1932 cartoon Mickey's Revue. Dippy Dawg was portrayed as an annoying, elderly member of the audience and a running gag of the short. Retro Goofy is primarily a younger version of said character. This younger version first appeared in Goofy's next cartoon, The Whoopee Party.
