Second Chance (ラストリーヴ Rasuto Rīvu, lit. "Last Leave") is an ability in Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts II, Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days , Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep and Kingdom Hearts Re:coded. It allows the user to survive a fatal blow with 1 HP, so long as they had more than 1 HP before the strike. It is invaluable for facing certain bosses, particularly those with powerful strikes.
Learning Second Chance
Kingdom Hearts
- Sora learns "Second Chance" at level 18 with the Dream Shield, 48 with the Dream Rod, and 51 with the Dream Sword.
- Donald learns "Second Chance" at level 25.
- Goofy learns "Second Chance" at level 36.
- Tarzan has "Second Chance" as a default ability.
- Beast has "Second Chance" as a default ability.
Kingdom Hearts Final Mix
- Sora learns "Second Chance" at level 36 with the Dream Shield, 48 with the Dream Sword, and 90 with the Dream Rod.
- Donald learns "Second Chance" at level 59.
- Goofy learns "Second Chance" at level 36.
- Tarzan has "Second Chance" as a default ability.
- Beast has "Second Chance" as a default ability.
Kingdom Hearts II and Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix
- Double-Keyblade Roxas has "Second Chance" as a default ability.
- Sora learns "Second Chance" at level 49 with the Dream Shield, 65 with the Dream Rod, and 85 with the Dream Sword.
- Goofy learns "Second Chance" after clearing the explosives from the Interceptor.
- Beast has "Second Chance" as a default ability.
- Riku has "Second Chance" as a default ability.
