Last Leave/Live

An anon changed the japanese translation from Last Leave to Last Live, saying "Last Leave" changed to "Last Live." Both /liv/ and /lēv/ would be transliterated to Japanese as リーヴ, but it makes much more sense in the context of what the ability does that it would refer to "live." If it were Last Life, I would agree, but Last Live sounds odd, since it's a verb, instead of a noun. So I did a google search for "Last Leave" and found a story called "Last Leaf", in which a woman who is close to dying says she will die when the "last leaf" falls, and stays alive as long as the last leaf is still attached to the vine, much like the ability. Would "Last Leaf" be a more suitable name? TheSilentHero 10:59, 4 May 2016 (UTC)

It would make more sense symbolically, but it's definitely a "vu" sound. I believe "Leave" was chosen with this definition:

• leave (uncountable)

Permission to be absent; time away from one's work.

I've been given three weeks' leave by my boss.

Thus, the abilities give the player leave from the combo or attack. "Last Leave" is also a construction that appears in English already, while "Last Live" is pure Engrish. Phonetically, both are acceptable, and I originally proposed "Live" until Urutapu overruled me, but wanted to note that "Last Leave" is not completely meaningless.
