Magic Pulse is a series of techniques introduced in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep. They allow the user to unleash spinning orbs that may inflict status effects on enemies.

MechanicsEdit

Kingdom Hearts Birth by SleepEdit

In Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, Magic Pulse is a series of Finish commands exclusive to Aqua. Magic Pulse 1 is a Level 2 Finish Command that summons two orbs of magic that spiral upwards around the user and has a 25% chance of confusing enemies. Magic Pulse 2 is a Level 3 Finish Command that summons three orbs and has a 50% chance of confusing or freezing enemies. Magic Pulse 3 is a Level 4 Finish Command that summons four orbs and has a 75% chance of confusing, freezing, or blinding enemies. Magic Pulse 4 is a Level 5 Finish Command that summons two orbs that stun enemies, and has two additional attacks that can be added by tapping   when prompted, first one unleashing a burst of wind and the second one summons a rainbow of orbs in a wider range.

Kingdom Hearts Union χEdit

In Kingdom Hearts Union χ, Magic Pulse is a special attack that target a single enemy. It costs 3 special attack gauges to perform. Magic Pulse +7 has a 10% chance to ignore the target's Defense Boost skill.

Magic Pulse EX is a special attack that targets all enemies. It costs 3 special attack gauges to perform. It ignores enemy counters, reflects 100% of Magic-attribute damage taken, has a 30% chance to ignore the target's Defense Boost skill, and turns the next Medal's attribute to Magic.

Kingdom Hearts IIIEdit

In Kingdom Hearts III, Magic Pulse is an action ability. It is Aqua's combo finisher and deals physical damage. The final hit has a 50% chance of stunning the enemy for 10 seconds, but this effect cannot be seen in-game as Terra-Xehanort and Vanitas are both immune to it.

Kingdom Hearts Dark RoadEdit

In Kingdom Hearts Dark Road, Magic Pulse is a magic ability that deals Water damage.

  • Aqua learns Magic Pulse 1 after earning 2000 CP while Finish is the equipped Finish command.
  • Aqua learns Magic Pulse 2 after earning 3800 CP while Magic Pulse 1 is the equipped Finish command.
  • Aqua learns Magic Pulse 3 after defeating 350 enemies while Magic Pulse 2 is the equipped Finish command.
  • Aqua learns Magic Pulse 4 after defeating 500 enemies while Magic Pulse 3 is the equipped Finish command.
