Hurricane Blast (ハリケーンピリオド Harikēn Piriodo , lit. "Hurricane Period"), translated as "Hurricane Period" in Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix and as "Hurricane Winder" in Kingdom Hearts III, is an ability that appears in Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, and Kingdom Hearts III. It allows Sora to spin-slash with the Keyblade 1080 degrees vertically in rapid moonsaults.
Mechanics
In Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, Hurricane Blast is a combat ability that costs 2 AP to equip. It is an air combo finisher that activates when Sora's target is at a lower height than him, or under him. When activated, Sora performs three moonsaults with his Keyblade extended while quickly falling downward, striking enemies below him as well as his target.
In Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, Hurricane Period is an action ability accessible in Limit Form. It is an air combo finisher that does multiple hits and launches enemies upwards. Unlike in Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, Sora no longer drops to the ground when performing the attack, and instead hovers in midair.
In Kingdom Hearts III, Hurricane Winder is an ability accessible in Second Form. It is the form's first air combo finisher.
