Lv	Materials

The Lady Luck is a Keychain for Sora's and the Player's Keyblade that appears in Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, Kingdom Hearts Re:coded, and Kingdom Hearts χ.

In Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, the Lady Luck is the signature Attack Card for Wonderland.

Design

In Kingdom Hearts, Lady Luck's general appearance is based on hearts, clubs, spades, and diamonds, the four suits of playing cards. The blade and handle of the Keyblade are directly connected and both are black with pink edges. The pommel is a diamond covered in a red and orange checkerboard pattern. The top of the guard is made of two clubs colored in a red and yellow checkerboard pattern, while the rest of the guard is a purple and red horseshoe shape. The tip of the blade is a large, orange heart with a thin, red and yellow border. The teeth of the Keyblade are comprised by a large, red spade. The Keychain is very short, consisting of only three silver links, and its token is an Ace of Hearts card.

In Kingdom Hearts χ, the Lady Luck's appearance differs depending on its upgrades. Its base appearance is basic, with its handle largely unchanged, while the guard being a more faded pink and a less ornate design. Its pommel has more of a pink and white pattern, as is the top. The tip of the blade lacks the ornate heart, while the teeth have a merely violet edge and a faded appearance. The Keychain's links are bronze, with the card's symbols black.

The first upgrade resembles its Kingdom Hearts iteration.

The second upgrade adds more refinery to the weapon. The handle is unchanged, but the guard now takes on an azure look. The pommel also bears a blue outline around the pink diamond. The top of the guard reuses the base appearance's coloration, but it now transfers to the base of the blade. The heart at the blade's tip is now red with a blue outline, while the teeth resemble its first upgrade's look and the Keychain and token now appear a lighter bronze.

The third upgrade now alters the handle and blade, which now look more pink. The guard now bears traces of blue, yellow, and pink, while the pommel now features a red and yellow diamond with a silver outline and the top features a red and yellow checker pattern. The tip of the blade features a blue heart, while the teeth bear an apricot pattern with a yellow outline. The Keychain and token now look more silver.

The final upgrade features the most ornate design yet. While the guard and handle remain unchanged, save for a more blended scheme, the pommel now bears a blue outline, and blue swirls now accompany the top of the guard. The blade now features a variety of color, with red, yellow, and violet being the primary colors used. The heart in the tip is golden with a red outline, while the teeth bear more of an ornate design. The Keychain's links are golden, with the token now a golden deck of cards.

The Keyblade's English name is derived from the goddess of fortune in Greco-Roman mythology; Tyche in Greece, and Fortuna in Rome, who was also known as "Lady Luck". Lady Luck is also the name of a dressphere in Final Fantasy X-2. Its Japanese name is a pun on the "Trump Card", a card that is used as a backup move to guarantee victory.
