Aero (card).png

Aero (エアロ Earo?), Aerora (エアロラ Earora?), and Aeroga (エアロガ Earoga?) are a series of magic introduced in Kingdom Hearts. They utilize the "power of wind", and are associated with the Spirit and Gust materials. Aero magic unleashes gusts of wind; however, the specific effects differ between appearances. In Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days and Kingdom Hearts Re:coded, it inflicts Aero-type damage.

Mechanics

Kingdom Hearts

In Kingdom Hearts, Aeroga wraps the target in a sphere of silver winds.

In Kingdom Hearts, Aero is defensive magic that can be used by Sora and Donald Duck. It creates a wind barrier around the user that halves any damage taken while it is active. Aero magic costs 2 MP to use.

The duration of the barrier is determined by the following formula:

Duration [seconds] = 18 + (Max MP)

Aerora and Aeroga create more powerful barriers which also inflict damage to enemies on contact. The damage is determined by the following formula:

Power = (Max MP) × 2 + 6

The barrier created by Aeroga also deflects certain attacks.

Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories

In Chain of Memories, Aeroga is a white whirlwind instead of a wind-barrier.

In Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, Aero is a magic card that can be used by Sora. It creates a brief whirlwind that blows away nearby enemies and inflicts damage.

The Aero card can be used in the following sleights:
