Second Chance (ラストリーヴ Rasuto Rīvu , lit. "Last Leave") is an ability in Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts II, Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days and Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep. The ability allows the player to survive a fatal blow with 1 HP, so long as they have more than 1 HP remaining.
In Kingdom Hearts II, there is a similar ability called Once More that allows Sora to survive a fatal combo in the same manner as Second Chance. Both abilities are considered invaluable for facing certain bosses, particularly those with fast, high-damage combos and powerful strikes.
