Magic Pulse 4

Magic Pulse (マジックパルス Majikku Parusu?) is a series of techniques that appear in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep and Kingdom Hearts χ. They are Finish commands that are exclusive to Aqua and allow the user to unleash spinning orbs may inflict status effects on enemies.

Mechanics

Magic Pulse 1 is a Level 2 Finish Command that summons two orbs of magic that spiral upwards around the user and has a 25% chance of confusing enemies. Magic Pulse 2 is a Level 3 Finish Command that summons three orbs and has a 50% chance of confusing or freezing enemies. Magic Pulse 3 is a Level 4 Finish Command that summons four orbs and has a 75% chance of confusing, freezing, or blinding enemies. Magic Pulse 4 is a Level 5 Finish Command that summons two orbs that stun enemies, and has two additional attacks that can be added by tapping X when prompted, first one unleashing a burst of wind and the second one summons a rainbow of orbs in a wider range.

  • Aqua learns Magic Pulse 1 after earning 2000 CP while Finish is the equipped Finish command.
  • Aqua learns Magic Pulse 2 after earning 3800 CP while Magic Pulse 1 is the equipped Finish command.
  • Aqua learns Magic Pulse 3 after defeating 350 enemies while Magic Pulse 2 is the equipped Finish command.
  • Aqua learns Magic Pulse 4 after defeating 500 enemies while Magic Pulse 3 is the equipped Finish command.
