A Mythril Crystal, the rarest of the Mythril materials

Mythril (ミスリル Misuriru?) is a material type available in Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts II. Mythril materials contain a rare metal, and are colored purple.

Drops

Kingdom Hearts

Kingdom Hearts Final Mix introduced the Mythril Stone, dropped only by the Pot Scorpion. Mythril Shards are only dropped by the Barrel Spider and Pot Spider, and Mythril is no longer available as a drop.

Treasures

Kingdom Hearts

  • Mythril Shard
  • Mythril

Mythril takes two forms in the first game, found as a Mythril Shard or a whole piece of Mythril. The former is much more commonly found, but both are procured from the same sources: treasure chests, enemy drops, and Trinity Marks scattered throughout the worlds, as well as prizes from completing the Cups at Olympus Coliseum.

Mythril Shard: Other: Prize at Olympus Coliseum; prize for posting postcards; present for rescuing Dalmatians; after playing Tigger Block talk to Pooh in Rabbit's house; open the 3 and 11 o'clock doors at Big Ben in Neverland; find the third fruit for Owl; use Bambi

Mythril: Other: Prize at Olympus Coliseum; prize for posting postcards; present for rescuing Dalmatians; after clearing Tigger's Big Pot and talking to Tigger (or after going in and out of Tigger's Playground), go back to the map screen; break the dead tree at Tigger's Playground; light the fire in front of Pooh's house and talk to Pooh; open the 6 o'clock door at Big Ben in Neverland; press the switch in the Tram Station at Hollow Bastion; use Bambi
