Welcome! I'm KeybladeSpyMaster! I also go by KSM, Keyblade, SpyMaster, and a bunch of other names. Not that I mind; I've got a ton of nicknames in the real world, and the list just keeps going. And growing. I am a former administrator here and on the Square Enix Wiki. Again, welcome!

Name Origin

So, a long time ago, I had a fanfic idea (which is still is in idea-form at the Fanon wiki), which centered around a boy who was both a Keyblade wielder and a spy (the idea was to add them to the Kingdom Hearts series as it existed, not to replace Sora, Kairi, and/or Riku). Thus, I formed in my head the idea of this character as both a Keyblade Master and a Master Spy. Now that I think about it, it should have been "KeybladeMasterSpy", but oh, well.

I joined the Kingdom Hearts Wiki on May 22, 2012, so that's my exact Wiki-versary. My first attempt at work was on the Timeline article, which still hasn't taken off. Though I began to get involved in early 2013 with the HD 1.5 ReMIX theme, I consider my true beginning at the Kingdom Hearts Wiki to have begun in late November 2013 (about November 20, 2013). During my first year on the wiki, I had little to contribute to the wiki. I would simply comb through old forums on the wiki using my PSP's internet browser (which is part of why I never contributed: lack of access). I did nothing else; I didn't think I could help in any way. After all, the only games I had at the time (all three PS2 games) seemed very well documented on the wiki from my standpoint. Nothing needed any help, from what I could see.

On November 2013, and in the days that followed, I began to get involved in discussions on the wiki, trying to see where I could help from my weird position of helplessness. I began to help with debates and arguments on things like the Riku Replica and uploading some of the Manga covers. I created some of the Walkthrough pages like Walkthrough:Deep Jungle. I also made an effort to welcome users, an effort quickly squashed when the wiki suffered a flood of spam users that December. At one point, I attempted to write up a walkthrough for Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, but that failed quickly. December 27, 2013 was the first time I used my early Photoshop skills to help the wiki, creating several images for the Walkthrough navigation menus. After that, I began to be more involved in adding information for the Birth by Sleep articles.

Ever since then, I've been involved on the wiki as best I could. On January 13, 2014, I was finally able to set up my computer, and that has basically cemented my ability to be involved on the wiki more often. I tried my best to keep up on news from Kingdom Hearts χ, which I at one point attempted to play using some guides online, but quickly gave up. Even so, I tried to help cover the game, and began to make pages for the new Heartless with help from ShardofTruth. In April, I inadvertently helped organize what became the year-long MegaProject: Arise, which I was glad to have helped with. I say inadvertently because I originally had the simple idea of doing something to increase community interest/activity, and during the Roundtable, it took form into MegaProject: Arise (credit goes to Pea14733 for the name). That same Roundtable saw me get involved with creating a template for the Manga chapters, which became my first true coding project. The rest is history. Since those fateful events, my skill in both wiki-coding (and a little general coding) and Photoshop increased, and I became more and more involved in Wiki affairs. I had found my place on the Kingdom Hearts Wiki, and thanks to the trust, friendship, and encouragement I received (and continue to receive) from so many people on this wiki, I excelled on the wiki doing what I did best. I was voted Featured User for the Month of July 2014 by editors that had quickly become my friends on the wiki. On November 7, 2014, I was elected Administrator on the Kingdom Hearts Wiki.

I continue to do my best on the Kingdom Hearts Wiki in that place I've come to love. I still employ my Photoshop and coding skills where I can, and am willing to help out anyone anytime. Just talk to me!

Retirement

April 13, 2015

The time has come. A time I knew was coming, and am excited to step into. I've been called to serve a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and I'll be leaving on May 20, 2015. I'm afraid I won't be able to access the wiki during that time, so I now retire from the wiki. I know I haven't been here for very long (just under two years active), but I want to say to you all that I've enjoyed my time here with you guys. You guys have been really good to me during my short time on the wiki, and I truly appreciate it. I've enjoyed our long discussions on the IRC, whether it was about plans for the wiki, or the actions of other editors, or the Kingdom Hearts series. It's been great, and I thank all of you who made this experience so much fun.

I can't promise that when it's all over in two years, I'll be back to the same routine I've carried out on this wiki over the last year-and-a-half. They say that a mission changes you, shifts your priorities. I don't know if that'll happen to me, or if I'll still have the same desire I have now to be here. I know that if it weren't for my mission, I'd probably start doing something else anyways, get a full-time job or something. My time here would still be short. Regardless, I do promise that in two year's time, I'll be back on the IRC at least once. I'm sure that by then, I'll know if I still want to be here and resume whatever duties and obligations might be needed.

I hope you all know that you've had a great influence on me, and that I've learned a lot from each and every one of you, even if you don't think I could have learned from you. I learned about trust, leadership, and friendship from all of you. I love you all, and will miss you all dearly over the next two years. To all of my friends on the wiki:

Personality

I'm a Hispanic 19-year-old, 5-ft 6-in. I'm a high-school graduate, looking for a job. I'm a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and I'm proud of it. I, apparently, have the face of a 15-year-old, which bugs me, because that means that no one will ever believe I'm an adult; in fact, some think I'm a freshman in high school (I'll never graduate like this, they'll just send me back because of my appearance). I'm, of course, a huge fan of the Kingdom Hearts series and plot. Despite not being able to play the games (due to financial troubles, I've made a great effort to know the entire plot and, hopefully, I'll get a PS3 so I can play the HD remasters. Or a PS4, and they'll allow backwards compatibility or something, so that I can play Kingdom Hearts III AND the HD ReMIXes.

I'm a really friendly kind-of guy. I joke around, sometimes tease, but I don't try to be rude. Even so, I'm a little socially awkward. I don't hang out with my friends outside of school a whole lot. I'm really shy, so I don't like to take huge decisions or gambles easily, quickly, or alone. I get nervous having to do anything in public, even with my family or friends there, and I have a pretty bad case of stage fright, though it seems to be getting better. I'm really good at math and I love computers. I plan to major in Computer Engineering. I keep up a lot with computer and technology news, and I'm pretty good at figuring out problems with computers (like maybe half the time). Half the reason I'm into wikis like this one is because of all the coding that has to go into making the pages, and the opportunity wikis give to practice and do that coding without charging or anything.

I'm pretty smart, and I think logically. I consider myself a logical thinker, er, over-thinker. If something doesn't make sense through experience or facts, I don't believe it. When I argue, I try to use history/precedent and facts to get my point across. I'm also pretty sarcastic, which may show on my posts. I try to remain friendly to all, but that doesn't mean I don't get mad.

I also love to draw, and I've drawn some things for my fanfic, said drawings can be seen on the Fanon wiki. Finally, I love playing with Photoshop, and my greatest works (in my opinion) are made on Photoshop. These are also on the Fanon wiki, though a couple seem to start showing up around here, somewhere... I really love Disney movies and recently, have grown quite fond of TRON. I'll spend some time on the DisneyWiki for this reason (though not very much time, Kingdom Hearts still comes first!). I try to be funny and witty, so I apologize if whatever I say isn't. Hey, we can't all be comedians. I'm open to talking, so you can talk to me about anything, from the next Kingdom Hearts game, to real life problems (though don't expect an answer to world hunger, because I still don't know).
