Regen (リジェネ Rijene?) is an ability that appears in Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, and Kingdom Hearts Re:coded. It restores small portions of the player's HP at a set interval.

Mechanics

In Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, Regen is an enemy card effect that costs 40 CP to add to the deck and lasts for ten uses. When the user's HP is critically low, Regen restores more HP.

In Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, Regen is a Dimension Link ability.

In Kingdom Hearts Re:coded, Regen is an Overclock ability.

  • The Oogie Boogie enemy card has Regen as its effect.
  • The Black Fungus enemy card can randomly activate Regen.
  • The Darkside enemy card can mimic an enemy's Regen.

  • The Lady Luck ⑤ has Regen as a level 3 Clock Ability.

Origin

Regen is a recurring status in the Final Fantasy series. Characters affected by Regen recover some of their HP at set intervals. It is often applied using the Regen spell.
