Blizzard Blades

Blizzard Blades (ブリザードブレード, Burizādo Burēdo, lit. "Blizzard Blade") is a Formchange in Kingdom Hearts III. It allows the user to transform the Keyblade into ice skates and arm-blades and assault enemies with a barrage of icy attacks.

Design

Blizzard Blades transforms the Keyblade into a pair of ice skates that rest on Sora's shoes and dual winged arm-blades equipped on his gloves.

Mechanics

In Kingdom Hearts III, Blizzard Blades is the second Formchange of the Crystal Snow Keyblade, associated with Blitz Form and following Blizzard Claws. Its basic combos have Sora perform a flurry of slashes and kicks from his arm-blades and skates, with his combo finishers being a forward spiral and kick. All of Blizzard Blades' attacks deal Blizzard damage, and it uses Proximity-style Magic.

The Finish command has Sora stomp the ground with his ice skates and generate a chandelier made of ice from the ground. He jumps across the chandelier before making it crash down on enemies.

Abilities

Aside from the abilities offered by Blitz Form, Blizzard Blades also has access to Ice Slide.
