Dark Maelstrom is a technique that appears in Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories. It allows Riku to unleash a powerful spinning attack with a pair of energy blades that rushes the enemy, followed by a powerful upward slash with the two swords combined.
Mechanics[edit]
In Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain Of Memories, Dark Maelstrom is a Duel Sleight that is activated by winning a five-card duel against an enemy while in Dark Mode.

- Riku learns Dark Maelstrom after the tutorial fight against Ansem, Seeker of Darkness in the B12F Exit Hall.
