Agrabah

TREASURE TABLE

Aladdin KH.png

After your trek through the Labyrinth of Olympus Coliseum, you find yourself in the desert town, Agrabah.

A cutscene involving Data-Sora and Mickey begins the world before you are given control with the task of finding out who else is in town. You start at the Plaza, which has a couple of Rare Prize Blox. High Jump may be necessary here, so be sure to map out your stat chips accordingly. If you climb on blocks, you can reach the rooftops. From the north-west rooftop, you can jump to the Aero on the south-western roof. From the north-eastern rooftop, you can use a bounce block to get to a platform of metal blocks with an Elixir. Other items of interest include a save point and The Peddlar, who is an alternative to a Moogle. Now, go through the large north gate to reach the Main Street.

This next area is much larger than the Plaza so it contains a wealth of Rare Prize Blox. Jump from stalls and blocks to get back up to roof level so that you can dash around, grabbing treasure. A Confuse is on a slightly higher platform, in the south-west. There is also a Firaga on top of an awning to the west. Lastly, there is a Lucky Strike on a raised platform near the upper entrance to the palace gates, in the north-east. Afterwards, take the north-eastern gate on the rooftop to go into the Bazaar.

This area has a Rare Pair Blox. Jump on the bottom row of metal and ghost blocks and knock one of the pair blocks to the ground. Then find a way to the top of the metal block structure and hit the other pair block inwards, towards the wall. The ghost blocks will disappear, allowing it to fall straight to the ground. Join up the two blocks and break your new block open to get a Defense +1 chip. Return to the Main Street and take the northern gate to reach the Palace Gates.

For the moment ignore the person standing in the middle of the area and focus on getting the room's Rare Prize Blox. First, climb the platforms in the south-west to reach the rooftop. From there, jump to the south-east rooftop and crack open the Rare Prize Blox to get a Magnet. There is also a Rare Pair Blox so return to the other rooftop. To get half of the pair, vault over the Danger Blox to the rooftop in the north-west. Then, turn east and use the bounce blocks to reach a metal platform, where one of the blocks are. Knock it to the ground. The other half is already on the ground, in the north-east corner of the map. Simply, bash one to the other, connect them and then break open the new block to be rewarded a Blizzard Resistance +2 chip. Once you've done all that, speak to that person to initiate a short conversation. As Data-Sora leaves the room, the person asks him if he could help find his friend, Jasmine, and reveals his name to be Aladdin.

Once the cutscene ends, return back to the Main Street and then go through the west door to reach the Alley. As you enter, a cutscene will play showing Jasmine to be threatened by an evil vizier Jafar until Data-Sora intervenes and battles him.

This battle is fairly simple as Jafar's only attack is shooting fireballs at you. Keep attacking him with the Keyblade but flee if his staff glows as this means he is going to shoot a fireball. After you dodge his attack, return to striking him. Jafar also teleports away at times, which can become a nuisance.

After the battle, Jafar flees the scene and discovers Pete, who gives him a magic lamp. Meanwhile, Jasmine explains her situation to Data-Sora and decides to follow him so that she can see Aladdin. Once you regain control, grab the Rare Prize Blox containing a Blizzard Buster hidden under a cluster of blocks, in the north. Next, take the south exit to return to the Plaza.

Speak to Aladdin to initiate a cutscene. He shows Jasmine and the party that he found a magic lamp, seeing it as a means to an end. Unfortunately, Jafar comes with his own lamp and steals Jasmine away before freezing time. While Mickey explains to Data-Sora that his Keyblade allows him to resist the spell for a period of time, the parrot Iago steals the lamp off the frozen Aladdin. When you take control, slightly new mechanics are in place. A timer dictates the amount of time you have however you can get additional time by breaking blocks or defeating enemies (who are also frozen). The easiest and most efficient way to farm time is destroying the blocks in the Plaza. What you need to do is move from area to area until the game notifies you of Iago's presence. Remember to check between all four areas: the Plaza, Main Street, Palace Gates, Alley and Bazaar. When you find him, simply talk to him and then he'll run away once more. By this point phantoms of Jafar will stalk the scene, rapidly reducing your time if they touch you, though you can avoid them by staying on the rooftops. You'll need to repeat the same process to find Iago two more times until Iago finally hand over the lamp. A cutscene will play where Data-Sora accidentally summoned the lamp's Genie, who then takes him to where Jafar is. The two find themselves outside the city, where time isn't frozen. Jafar enters a chamber and uses one of his wishes to seal the door behind him.

When the cutscene ends, you'll be at the Cave / Entrance and to unseal the chamber door, you'll need to go through a System Sector. The backdoor is on the ground in the north-west corner of the map. The sector itself is only one floor long with a simple challenge. Debug it and then claim your rewards:

Enter the now-open Cave of Wonders to reach the Cave / Hall of Beginnings, which is a mainly-linear winding path. Halfway down, rolling boulders fall down the path so beware. Eventually, the path forks into two directions. Take the left route as it has a Rare Prize Blox containing a Strike Raid. The two routes eventually rejoin and near to the end, there is a Rare Prize Blox containing a Land Crash. At the end of the path, a collision requires you to go through another System Sector. To find the backdoor, backtrack to the fork in the path and take the route you didn't go before. Find it somewhere along there. This sector has three floors and introduces another new type of Bug Blox.

Now, you can return to the end of the path and continue to the next area, the Cave / Gaunlet. There is a Rare Prize Blox that contains a Thunder Tracer near the entrance. Also, if you fall off the path down into the darkness, you land in a lower chamber. To get out, examine the door and then find the System Sector's backdoor in the south-east corner. It only has one floor and its challenge is to defeat the Gold Tricholoma, which will inevitably appear after you debug the floor. To deal with it, use all your offensive commands on it quickly so that it does not have time to attack or teleport away.

Back at the Cave / Gaunlet run down the path, avoiding the traps that blow you off-path. Near the centre of the map, there is another Rare Prize Blox, which has a Fire Resistance +1 inside. Towards the end, there are a large amount of metal blocks, some of which fall down seconds after you step on it. In plain sight, there are two more Rare Prize Blox, one containing an Aero Resistance +2 chip and one with a Debug Device: R. The end of the path leads to a sinking platform of blocks with enemies on top. You must stand on it and make sure not to fall off. Over time, the platform becomes smaller and smaller, making it harder to stay on. Just defeat all the enemies and keep melee attacks to a minimum. Once you manage to hold out long enough, you are taken to the next room, where you fight an empowered Jafar.

MINIBOSS TEMPLATE: JAFAR STRATEGY: Jafar has a few more tricks up his sleeve now. Aside from a few extra attacks, he can also summon Heartless and duplicate phantom copies of himself. Keep attacking the real Jafar and don't be erred when he teleports away.

After you defeat him, Jafar uses his final wish to turn himself into a genie. Mickey tells Data-Sora that Jafar is now inside the world's Keyhole and urges him to find it quickly before it's too late. When you have control, you have three minutes to find the Keyhole, which is done by destroying blocks in the room. You should also grab the Rare Prize Blox containing an Aero Edge, hidden within the wall of blocks to the west. Once you find the Keyhole, examine it to enter and battle Jafar.

Rewards Three Wishes
The only way to hurt Jafar in his genie form is by attacking Iago, who has his lamp. Do this while avoiding Jafar's guided orbs of light, which inflict negative status effects, and large, burning boulders. He also occasionally summons Heartless to help him. Kill all but one of them as this will prevent more spawning later. After you deplete his first health bar, you'll fight him again but this time with new blocks and platforms added to the terrain, making it harder to reach Iago. Be ready as Jafar may rearrange, destroy or create blocks at any time.

Following Jafar's defeat, a cutscene plays where Pete and Maleficent intervene with Data-Sora, leading straight onto the next world, Hollow Bastion I.

Questploration

Quests

Speaking to Aladdin will give you a total of three quests. The first quest requires you to retrieve a Silver Ring, which is redeemed from Agrabah: System Sector D for 47000, and the reward is a Debug Device: R. The second required you to retrieve Crystal Earrings, which are redeemed from Hollow Bastion II: System Sector D for 47000 SP, and the reward is a Night Lenses. The final quest requires you to retrieve Ruby Hairpin, which is redeemed from Agrabah: System Sector E for 310000 and the reward is an Icicle Mine.

System Sector D

When you have Scan at level 3, you can detect a new System Sector that is found in the Palace Gates. It has four floors that all have the same challenge: to not take damage more than a certain number of times. This requires you to be extra careful to dodge attacks. If you're finding this difficult, limit yourself to using magic commands to keep distance between you and the enemies. Once you've finished, redeem your rewards:

System Sector E

When you have Scan at level 4, you can detect a new System Sector that is found in the Cave / Gaunlet. It has seven floors and a few difficult challenges. One requires you to take out five enemies with one blow each, but this can be completed easily by using powerful attack commands, like Judgement Triad. Another demands that you obtain at least 10 items so tweaking your cheats may be necessary for that floor. At the end, redeem your rewards:
