Second Chance (ラストリーヴ Rasuto Rīvu , lit. "Last Leave") is an ability introduced in Kingdom Hearts. It allows the user to survive a single fatal blow with 1 HP, provided they have more than 1 HP left.
Second Chance is invaluable for facing certain bosses, particularly those with powerful individual strikes.
Mechanics
In Kingdom Hearts, Second Chance is a support ability that costs 2 AP to equip. In Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, it costs 5 AP to equip.
In Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories, Second Chance is an enemy card effect that costs 35 CP and lasts for three uses. While Second Chance is active, the user is resistant to lightning, but stunned by fire.
In Kingdom Hearts II, Second Chance is a support ability that costs 4 AP to equip.
In Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, Second Chance is an equipment ability.
