Brooms appear in both Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts II.
According to Jiminy's journal:
King Mickey cast a spell on these brooms and turned them into hard workers. They clean and help maintain the Gummi Ship, and do just about any other necessary work.
They originally appeared in The Sorcerer's Apprentice (1940), also enchanted by King Mickey to do house work, however, his magic was not capable enough to fully control them, thus his master Yen Sid is forced to correct his mistake.
