==Australian rating board== | |||
(Sorry for the 1.5 month late reply). Until 2.8's release, the franchise has been given a mainly PG rating here in Australia. ''Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance'' is rated PG on the Nintendo 3DS, but has been reclassified as M on the PS4. ''Kingdom Hearts III'' was initially PG on release, but after ReMind was released, newer copies at EB Games have given it the M rating. {{Uxie/Sig}} 13:23, 17 August 2020 (UTC) |

Photobook
Hey, I realize that you're proabably just getting back in, but I thought I'd let you know that we have a thing we're putting together for a photobook that Churro (from KH13) is handing in to Tetsuya Nomura! So, if you'd like to throw in a little blurb or a drawing to Tetsuya Nomura, shoot me a message on my talkpage or make a section on the page I linked, and I'll quick add it in. I'll be handing it off to Churro in around 24 hours-ish from this message. And once again, welcome back friend! Chainoffire 08:48, 26 May 2017 (UTC)
Hey, sorry I didn't get back to you on this. Obviously, I won't be participating. Still trying to get used to being home after so long. Hey, when could we meet on the IRC? I'd like to get a little caught up on things. Or right here works just as well. Whichever works. Man, I miss the good old times. Still got it memorized? :) KeybladeSpyMaster 06:18, 30 May 2017 (UTC)
- Unfortunately, my time on a computer is few, far between, and sparse. I can happily chat on talkpages though! Unless you have Facebook messenger, that's the best way to get a hold of me. (this is a dab by the way. It's a dance move all those youngsters do these days. I'm too old to keep up with the trends. ._.) Anything you'd like to know about? Chainoffire 07:06, 2 June 2017 (UTC)
Welcome template
Just a heads up that new users are now shown the welcome template immediately after creating their account, so in order to prevent superfluous page creation, it's no longer necessary to create talk pages for every new user. --Porplemontage (talk) 16:41, 31 May 2017 (UTC)
KHWiki Timeline
Your missing a few key events for the timeline. Byzantinefire - There are no strings on me (talk) 17:21, 21 June 2017 (UTC)
- Like what? Besides, it's just a draft idea. Nothing for sure going that's going to happen. KeybladeSpyMaster 17:28, 21 June 2017 (UTC)
- Well the Discord channel for one. Byzantinefire - There are no strings on me (talk) 17:32, 21 June 2017 (UTC)
- Is that it? The idea isn't a full-fledged historical encyclopedia of everything anyone's ever done on the Wiki. Notice that I intentionally didn't mention the make of Traverse Town from two years ago, the creation of the Wiki's Facebook, Google+, and DeviantArt pages, or the different Affiliates we've added over the years. It's not meant to include everything. KeybladeSpyMaster 17:44, 21 June 2017 (UTC)
- I'm pretty sure timelines are supposed to be very thorough. Byzantinefire - There are no strings on me (talk) 17:46, 21 June 2017 (UTC)
- They're as thorough as we want them to be. For example, my proposal for the Kingdom Hearts series Timeline article isn't super thorough, either. It touches all the major points and events in the series, but doesn't go into every detail like every world they visit and every character they defeat. Same here. The point is to cover major events that have made the Wiki what it is today, not everything that has ever happened. That's why we archive all the Forums and stuff; people can just go in and find out more themselves, if they really want to. KeybladeSpyMaster 17:50, 21 June 2017 (UTC)

It has been a while
It's good to see you back. How have you been, and how did your mission go? TRSNX 07:29, 25 July 2017 (UTC)
- I'm doing great! Already got a job and just started my regular schedule yesterday, actually, after three weeks of training. My mission was awesome. Met a lot of cool people, had a lot of fun. It went by really quickly. How about you? You sound like your doing great, just from the podcast. KeybladeSpyMaster 23:50, 25 July 2017 (UTC)
It's a long story. I don't know how great I'm doing, but so far, still hanging in there. TRSNX 10:39, 29 July 2017 (UTC)
End of Year Tournament
I'm confused, the rules say to use three ~~~ yet all the votes been using four ~~~~
- Btw, how do you display the raw form of signatures here? --Doggieboy9 (talk) 21:41, 17 October 2017 (UTC)
- Nvm, figured it out --Doggieboy9 (talk) 21:53, 17 October 2017 (UTC)
- Yeah, I noticed everyone was using the four tildes, creating a timestamp with their names. I'm not going to make a big deal out of it; the idea was simply to keep it somewhat cleaner by making sure the time didn't get added with the signature. But, like I said, it's not a big deal. KeybladeSpyMaster 05:35, 18 October 2017 (UTC)
- Nvm, figured it out --Doggieboy9 (talk) 21:53, 17 October 2017 (UTC)
Err... I think their something wrong with the timers on KHWiki:End of Year Event 2017/ATG. It's not October 28 yet. --Doggieboy9 (talk) 12:50, 24 October 2017 (UTC)
- Yeah, I saw that. I was kinda hoping it was just a problem with my browser, because I couldn't figure out the problem. I'll see if I can figure out the issue in the morning, because as far as I can tell, everything is coded correctly. I re-wrote that part of the template code a couple times and kept getting the same result. Sometimes it displays correctly, other times, it thinks time's up, and other times, the whole thing just breaks. I guess in the mean time, just now the battles end at midnight MDT on the 28th. EOYE Trivia Contest
I'm busy with preparations for the trivia contest, and I wanted to ask you if you could make some sort of prize, like a trophy to put on userpages, or something. I know it's not much of a prize, but it's better than nothing and we can't have a trivia contest without a prize, right? TheSilentHero 19:17, 7 November 2017 (UTC)
- Yeah, not a problem! Just let me know what you're kinda thinking of, and I'd be happy to help! KeybladeSpyMaster 22:02, 7 November 2017 (UTC)
- Sorry for the late reply, I've been busy with other things. Are you still planning to have awards for the Union Cup? Because it might be a good idea to make the awards look similar. Or maybe something with the Book of Prophecies. TheSilentHero 18:21, 13 November 2017 (UTC)
- Yeah, I'm still planning on some sort of awards for the Union Cup. They're looking like the awards HD 1.5, 2.5, and 2.8 achievements. I don't know, we could do something like that and use the Book of Prophecies instead of the trophies. I'll send you the pics on Messenger of what I've got so far and you can tell me what you think. Thanks
This is seriously past due, but thanks for saving my ass on the Photobucket image purge. Inactivity is bad enough, but for something that much of a headache...geez. As if initially purging them from the Wiki wasn't bad enough! *grumbles* So. Many. Hours. @_@ *grumbles* Words aren't enough, but, seriously, you have my eternal thanks. Question
I intend to make a triumphant return to the Kingdom Hearts Wiki in honor of the latest Kingdom Hearts III news. In accordance with the "fresh start" I desire here, I am considering changing my user name. I realize this is not encouraged, but how would I go about doing so? I am glad to see you are back! - Eternal Nothingness XIII 00:10, 14 February 2018 (UTC)
- Hey, glad to see you, too! So, if I recall correctly, you can only change your username once, and only a bureaucrat has the renameuser rights. So, you'd have to ask one of the bureaucrats. Right now, though, we're in the middle of a staff reorganization, since KrytenKoro retired two weeks ago, so you may have to wait till after we finalize the elections. You can check the staff talk page to join the conversation. You can still ask, though, I don't know if they will or won't do username changes right now, I just assume they probably won't. Again, super excited to have you back! KeybladeSpyMaster 00:23, 14 February 2018 (UTC)
- Thanks for getting back to me! I want to update my user space to be KH0.2/KHIII-themed, and I feel a new user name is necessary for that. If the Wiki is in chaos, however, I will hold off on making changes to anything. - Eternal Nothingness XIII 00:30, 14 February 2018 (UTC)
- Yeah, not a problem. Like I said, we're just dealing with that. Right now, NinjaShiek is the de facto bureaucrat, but she's asking for an election first so that it's okay with the community, and we've decided to deal with other staff vacancies while we're at it. KeybladeSpyMaster 01:09, 14 February 2018 (UTC)
- I'd be fine sticking with the Organization XIII theme and related user name if Photobucket's third-party hosting services hadn't been destroyed...That said, I think Ninja would make a great bureaucrat. You would, too. I think the people who lead this Wiki need to be kind, fair, and passionate about what we do here. That description fits both of you, from what I've seen and observed through our various interactions. - Eternal Nothingness XIII 01:52, 14 February 2018 (UTC)
- Sorry to butt in on your conversation (Hey ENX. Welcome back), but as far as I know, there's no limit on user renaming here. You can only change your username once on wikia, though. However, it's better to not change your username often. When you change your username, be sure not to move/delete your old signature and talk bubble template to avoid broken conversations and links, and update them to your new name. Misspellings
How is that consistent with the wiki's directive to eliminate trivia sections, as covered in the manual of style? And where else do we list misspellings in trivia sections?"We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 20:26, 23 October 2018 (UTC)
- Also, how is that not brief enough?"We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 20:26, 23 October 2018 (UTC)
- Sure. A search for "Trivia" brings up most or all articles on the wiki containing Trivia sections. Multiple articles on site, including Marluxia, Braig, and Disney Castle, list information like these misspellings, which are comparatively insignificant but noteworthy development errors or changes, as trivia. As far as how it's not brief, the manual of style states: "The first sentence in the introduction should briefly define the subject of the article..." Spelling mistakes are not defining the subjects, and are therefore simply extending unnecessarily the opening sentence.
- As for a directive to eliminate trivia sections, I believe that was something from a few years ago, no? In any case, the Manual of Style does not prohibit trivia sections, but rather discourages the trivia that is based in speculation. KeybladeSpyMaster 20:39, 23 October 2018 (UTC)
- (Posting here for posterity, we also discussed this in community chat) It also says "does not fit in other places of the article,", and as far as I'm aware that directive never went away.
- I'm not sure I see how the Marluxia trivia section is analogous to this (it's music and a difference in wielding the scythe that should probably be in the weapon section anyway), Braig is the article in question, and Disney Castle's trivia note just talks about it being removed content (and could probably be moved to a development section)."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." Do you have the .mset files to animate the 3D models? Thank you!
- Hi. First, please remember to sign your posts to forums and people's talk pages with four tildes ("~~~~"). Secondly, no, I don't have those models. I don't know that anyone on the site has those, either. Sorry. KeybladeSpyMaster 23:03, 1 January 2019 (UTC)

Re: Music of Kingdom Hearts
Thank you for the suggestion. Whatever I can do to help the wiki out will make me happy. Can you please elaborate for me, though? I'm not super good with adding/linking the music files on the wiki. I'm pretty much just creating a list of all the songs in alphabetical order, where they are heard, and if they are arranged differently from the other games. Do you want me to create articles for each musical piece? I just need some more information, that's all. Thank you and I look forward to contributing further. :) Hallowseve97 (talk) 00:37, 10 February 2019 (UTC)
